Publisher's summary

There’s no place like home...but they’re not headed to Kansas.

The Sanctuary is the hidden home of the Golden Circle-a sect of powerful mages. It’s a sacred place of learning, magic, and deep secrets. When Tristan discovers his father, Connor Montague is being held prisoner, he vows to return to the Sanctuary and release him.

There’s only one problem. The Sanctuary has been taken over by Mage Oliver. An Elder who has unleashed the magistrates and promises to destroy Tristan the moment he steps foot on the mountain.

Now together with the help of Simon, they must face a mountain of mages, free his father, and escape the Sanctuary before an Arch Mage erases them from existence.

Another one hit out of the park!

I started this series for two reasons. The first reason was my dad recced it to me. The second reason was the author was a member of a book group on social media that I respect. I'm so glad I listened. Montague and Strong are a hilarious urban fantasy juxtaposition of The Odd Couple and The Iron Druid. Between Tristan constantly needing a cuppa, Simon's sarcasm, and Peaches' constant need of sausage, this is the perfect mix. I can't wait for the next story.

A real nail-biter!

This one keeps you in suspense until the end! I can't to read the next one! I also have an odd craving for sausage...

It's scary watching a master weaver at work.

Make sure you have your hot beverage of choice, your cliff notes from the earlier books, and pen and paper to add more notes as you buckle in for the next chapter.
What I'm learning reading in the M&S Universe is that Orlando Sanchez is a master story teller weaving together a great many threads. We learn more about our beloved Simon, and Tristan each outing but we're often left with more questions.
Homecoming speaks to what family means. To paraphrase Peaches, "Family is life, " but family is not necessarily blood.
Being a greedy reader I would like some more books, please.
