Editorial reviews

One of the greatest mysteries in American history is that surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It has spawned countless books, movies, and has generally occupied our collective conscious for the past five decades. Now, approximately 50 years after that fateful day, best-selling authors Jesse Ventura and Dick Russell have produced an engaging and enthralling look at the conspiracies and the truth behind just what led to the murder of JFK. Performed with a chiseled authority by veteran Jason Culp, They Killed Our President is a shocking take on one of the most tragic days in American politics.

Publisher's summary

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 50 years, you're aware of the many hypotheses that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was not done by one man. Whether you've listened to one or a dozen of the audiobooks on this topic, there's no way to fully grasp the depth of this conspiracy.

For the first time ever, New York Times best-selling authors Jesse Ventura and Dick Russell have teamed up with some of the most respected and influential assassination researchers to put together the ultimate compendium that covers every angle - from the plot to the murder - of JFK. They Killed Our President will not only discuss the most famous of theories, but will also bring to light new and recently discovered information, which together shows that the United States government not only was behind this egregious plot, but took every step to make sure that the truth would not come out.

With 2013 marking the fiftieth anniversary of JFK's assassination, this is the perfect time for They Killed Our President to be available to listeners. The research and information in this audiobook are unprecedented, and there's nobody better to bring this to everyone's attention than the former governor of Minnesota and US Navy SEAL, Jesse Ventura.

Excellent grand view of things

Any additional comments?

This is a very well researched grand view of the current state of what we know about the JFK assassination. He also makes a great case for why this still maters more than 50 years later. Highly recommended.

A Conspiracy Compendium

This is an assassination addicts sheer delight, providing sixty-three facts that are ironclad proof of a probable conspiracy tied to the murder of John Kennedy in 1963. Ventura and Russell present the best repudiation of the flawed Warren Commission investigation since Oliver Stone's 1991 film JFK, with superb narration by Jason Culp.

Great point by point synopsis.

Liked the story and the narrator. Didn't like the weird Web address spellings. Despite this, it was an enjoyable read.

Compelling evidence clearly cited

The narration was excellent, and the material and format was engaging. Started after being swayed by Gerald Posner’s “Case Closed”, and am now in the conspiracy camp again.
