What really happened to TWA 800? On the 20th anniversary of the crash, author Jack Cashill reveals shocking new evidence.

TWA Flight 800 crashed into the Atlantic shortly after takeoff from JFK Airport on July 17, 1996, killing all 230 passengers onboard. Although initial reports suggested a terrorist attack, FBI and NTSB investigators blamed a fuel-tank explosion. But skeptics have long questioned the official story, and new evidence has surfaced that suggests a widespread conspiracy.

In TWA 800, historian Jack Cashill introduces new documents and testimonies that reveal the shocking true chain of events, from the disastrous crash to the high-level decision to create a cover story and the attempts to silence anyone who dared speak the truth.

a little redundant, think the story could have been covered in less time, but impactful. definitely worth the listen

I always thought this was a missile and have followed this story from the beginning so I was familiar with most of the material presented. This story provides great details about what might have happened but not conclusive and sadly, likely we never will know for sure. Great narrator.

So many eye witnessess...

Don’t believe your eyes, the FBI and CIA will tell you what REALLY HAPPENED. 257 witnesses saw what appeared to be a missile, but we cannot have such a thing affect an election, now can we? Especially not if the candidate is a democrat, and certainly not if the candidate is a Clinton….. No worries, the NYT is ready to be the mouthpiece of the government bureaucracies/democrat party (I know, that’s kind of an oxymoron, they’re one in the same) both then, and now. Don’t believe your eyes and ears, they will tell you what you actually heard and saw!

The information in this book is excellent. It puts the story together in a very concise manner. I would say the narration though it is professional sounding does make me think of shows like “a current affair“, “unsolved mysteries“.

If only we had a freethinking press

1996 seems like ancient history. I remember this happening. Watching on the news and immediately questioning what was happening with the FBI involvement and later the CIA. This investigation should be reopened and the truth exposed.

Biggest coverup ever…More people need to read this!!!!!!

Very detailed look at the complete corruption behind the cover-up of the downing of
TWA Filght 800 .The eye witness testimony of so many witnesses disregarded or changed and the numerous liars that were put in place by the CIA , FBI and White House to cover up this tragedy A great but depressing read that does nothing to restore my confidence in the government.

Everyone Should read this Book!

The idea that the navy could screw up and take down a passenger plane is plausible, the idea that the govt would do their best to cover such an incident up is even more plausible, the intelligence agencies intentionally spreading disinformation to skew coverage is as well. All of these have happened in other stories so the basic idea that a missile took down the plane actually makes sense. Where the author lost me was the constant effort to make this a political issue around Clinton’s re-election, and to tie in random people and events that are probably not connected. I would be interested to read a book on this topic by an author who isn’t so heavily biased. Looking into the author though, I am much less inclined to listen to him as the other conspiracies he touts are totally ridiculous. Definitely a compelling story, but must be taken with a heaping cup of salt.

A potentially real coverup lost in a mess of political bias and imagined connections.

Very good investigation into this very dark day in history were so many life's touched . Another government cover-up and screwup one of many during Clinton years. My prayers to all the families involved.

Very good investigation
