Publisher's summary

The audiobook the media and the Left don’t want you to hear!

Award-winning investigative journalist Liz Collin sets the record straight. She uncovers what really happened on a street in Minneapolis that set off the riots, the demands to defund the police, and the skyrocketing crime across the country. Based on conversations with those who were there—including Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, and other Minneapolis police officers who’ve never spoken out before—Liz exposes how the media and the Left manipulated the facts to dupe and divide America.

In between, she explains how her life was turned upside down. Liz was a familiar face on the news in the Twin Cities. Her husband, Lt. Bob Kroll, president of the Minneapolis police union, was personally blamed for the rioting by Mayor Jacob Frey, the ACLU, and so many others. Liz and Bob were attacked by social media mobs and cancel-culture vultures. Amid all the chaos, she watched so-called civil-rights leaders, politicians, and activists protest on her front lawn.

This audiobook also reveals some of the cover-ups, collusion, and hidden political connections in Minneapolis. It points out those who turned Minnesota nice into Minnesota naïve—and the “leaders” who could have stopped the insanity and given civility a chance. But most of all, it tells the truth about how the media and the Left have been lying to us all.

Great insight to the cover-ups!

Eye opening! I knew a lot about things included in this book, but learned much more! It's sad, but unfortunately true what's happening in the US today, just SO very sad.

Thank you for sharing the rest of the story.

This is a good recap of all the things we weren’t told. Shame on those in authority who worked to hide the truth. There are always 2 sides to every story and sometimes even more. This has taught me that not everything the media reports is the full story. Always be skeptical and look further. Taking videos out of context can be dangerous. Be diligent, ask questions and don’t be quick to judgement.

The truth about George Floyd.

The narrative was told objectively and truthfully, without animus at the people who caused the author and her husband the most pain. I admire her courage and journalistic integrity to tell a story that needed to be told.

Outstanding

It never ceases to amaze me what the media in the left will tell you to try to get the results that they want. They lie and backstab the people that actually do the job.

A story that needed to be told!

This is a story that needed to be told. I followed the George Floyd story as it unfolded, and I admit the viral Facebook video looked bad for the officer involved (Derek Chauvin). But what I found equally shocking was that “Murder” was a foregone conclusion from day 1, and was being made by predominantly by lawyers in political office from President Biden all the way down to the county prosecutor. Where was due process? How could any verdict but guilty be reached in a city already burning to the ground?

Liz Collin had a unique front row seat to much of this story as it unfolded, with her position as a local news anchor and through her husband who was the president of the MPD police union at that time. She does a magnificent job describing one of the greatest miscarriages of justice ever seen in this Country. That is a bold statement, but one I believe to be accurate considering the depth and magnitude of manipulation of the justice system by politicians, heads of local and federal law enforcement agencies, the public via social media and violent riots, and the legacy media.
The aftermath resulted in decimation of police forces in every major city across the country and a sharp increase in violent crime across the board. Nearly 4 years later, these problems persist and likely will for a long time.

This is a must-read book. I also highly recommend watching the documentary based on this book that was just released for free viewing on Rumble. Watch, listen, and prepare to have your eyes opened to the shocking but true story behind the death of George Floyd.

The Truth Shall Set You Free

Just the facts
Well documented
Fast paced
Great narration
Presented in a clear, concise, documentary format
I would say I enjoyed the book but the truth of it and the truth of how greedy politicians and the corrupt media are destroying our blessed country left me disgusted.
If you love the USA and believe in justice you must read this book.
