Publisher's summary

Listeners around the world have thrilled to Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, and Killing Jesus - riveting works of nonfiction that journey into the heart of the most famous murders in history. Now, from Bill O'Reilly, anchor of The O'Reilly Factor, comes the most epic book of all in this multimillion-selling series: Killing Patton.

General George S. Patton, Jr., died under mysterious circumstances in the months following the end of World War II. For almost 70 years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident - and may very well have been an act of assassination. Killing Patton will take listeners inside the final year of the war and recount the events surrounding Patton's tragic demise, naming names of the many powerful individuals who wanted him silenced.

Good read

As good as I hoped for! Lots of additional history for you to think about. Learned quite a bit while being entertained.

Great book. Only 60% about Patton though.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed what I learned in this one. But Patton was only about 60% of what was discussed. I understand that there has to be back story but Bill went pretty far afield.

Good story bad narrator

This is an interesting book, but it would have been much better if someone other than O'Reilly had narrated. I got very tired of hearing him miss pronounce Patton's wife's name.

Great historical read

Straight forward and as brutally honest as Bill O'Reily can be. This is a great book that cover much more than Patton, but gives a great synopsis of the ETO and most of the surrounding factors.

Excellent research

After reading Killing Jesus, I became a fan of O’reilly. Tons of data points which reveals data not gleaned in college. If you like history, this book will capture your attention.

Very good read. Even though I actually paid attention in my college level history classes this book exposed a wealth of information i never heard of.
