I loved this book and was hoping I would find book 2, but didn’t. I am going to check out some of Sara Fields other books. Great story, great narrators.

Hardcore

The sex scenes where really dirty which would be fine if the story had created some sexual tension between the two characters. There was no real character development and the narrator made him seem slimy. Way too many “baby girls”. The female narrator was much better. I’m not sure how she could read this and not be pissed off the whole time. I usually like to go find my husband after a good sexy romance, even if it’s guy on guy. All I wanted after listening to this was a shower.

Erotica at it's worst

The narrators were amazing, but the story, the horrific treatment of Isabella was truly unbearable and unrealistic. I began to think Sara Fields has mommy issues how she allows her heriones to think and feel with the men that take them, turn them out and become ruined for any other. There was no love here, just lust, a lack of consent, humiliation, control, a lot of pain . My last read from this author. Don't recommend.

Must love alpha rough dark romances

If you love a dominant male with dark romance then you found the right book!

Great story

Love this story I wonder if there’s a second book to this ?! I would love to read more of his Majesty as the author left me wanting more .

Dirty for sure

The story is dark for sure. I think the male narrator sound more Hispanic than Italian but it works. Sara writes great stories.

Buyer beware, book takes things a little to far.

Could not finish book after public punishment scene, took things to far for me. Will admit that I have read some bdsm books in the past, but this book went to far for me. Maybe it was the shear none stop arrogance and often disdain the king had for the girl as he did scene after sex scene, but there was little to like about him. Then there was the girl who took it all, that made me lose any respect for her as a woman. I stuck it out far longer then I thought I could, but this story had no redeemable qualities to it.

Smoking Hot Royal Romance

This is a new to me author. I enjoyed the storyline and characters of Matteo and Isabella. I liked the audiobook version of dual narrators with Heather Firth voicing Isabella and Thomas Locklear voicing Matteo. They compliment each other with accents, emotions and authenticity of the characters. I need to read book two to find out what happens to Matteo and Isabella.
