Publisher's summary

A great star Wormwood is described in Chapter 8 of the Book of Revelation. Wormwood is explained in only two verses; verses 10 and 11. This is that description: “And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters. And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” This information was written from author John’s vision of that event. It resulted from the sounding of the third trumpet of seven trumpets that sounded when the seventh seal was opened. The seven seals were on a book described in Chapter 5: “And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.” The information announced from the third trumpet was totally different and seemingly unrelated to the information presented from the others. The other six trumpets announced things and visions related directly to war. They gave descriptions of preparations for war, weapons of war and some of the horrible results from warfare. This presentation of the great star Wormwood seemed totally out of place; it did not describe any part of war, only a great disaster caused by Wormwood; the results of drugs, including heroin and opiods upon our nation and the world. This book explains the meaning of Wormwood; and it also explains why this information is presented in an unusual position within the words of Revelation. It offers part of the time line of coming Apocalyptic events.
