I almost did, I started the book before work and finished it by the next morning.

OMG I loved it, I hated, I laughed and cried

I loved that this audio was so long and was really in depth with all the characters backstories and then launched into what was really happening. What got my panties in a twist was pure idiocy if the lead characters. I would scream communication people!!!! I would laugh at the way they treated and or talked to each other. Despite how wrong it was. I would have to offer pause and ask myself “I hope I don’t know anyone who thinks like this. Who thinks that people from high school are the same after 5 or even 10 years” Trust me it’s a hard pill to swallow to know that there are such individuals. This audio is beautifully performed by Carly Robins. She brought all the characters to the table and really pulled this through. A true romantic comedy

Just for giggles.

It didn’t make me laugh out loud...Just giggles. I am pretty much on a fence if it’s a 3 or 2 stars. I dig the storyline but there is extreme non-sense bickering with one another, unnecessary jealousy throughout the phases in their lives, or just plain silly and impossible scenarios that occurred among the characters. I guess I wouldn’t mind that all if it was laugh out loud kind of book. It did drag a little too long for me as well but maybe it was meant to be a slow-burn. I don’t know what to say but I think it got potential and just needed a little more work on it: Just tighten it up a bit. It was still amusing and light kind of read.

Refreshing and delightful

I had a tremendous amount of fun listening to this book.. The narrative was an excellent and the writing was superb. I definitely would recommend this to all my friends.

Bit too long

I read somewhere that this story was originally a screenplay that was turned into a book, and I can tell. There are so many deviations from one persons POV to another that it can give you a bit of whiplash. Especially listening to it, I was often thinking, who is this now?

It wasn’t just the two main characters either. There was the maid, Bill’s father, his mother, Christina’s bestie, Jenny, and I think Bill’s bestie Jack had a moment. And there was no headed up when a new POV would appear.

That being said, there were several really funny moments, and I’m a fan of the narrator, so those things kept me on track. I did jump ahead after skimming a few chapters just after Bill and Christina got together. But all-in-all it was kinda enjoyable.

Interesting story line which holds your interest throughout. Enjoyed the unpredictable twists and turns. Narration was excellent.
