Cute Series

I just finished the series and it was absolutely adorable. The stories were short and sweet with hot flame breathing aliens and the strong women who became their bound mates. The narrators were excellent.

Prince meets his Bound

Prince the oldest son to the Hyrokin Mafia Lord, finds out his father got a bound while he was on vacation on a cruise. He was suppose to pick up his younger step sister athe the transporter deck but misses her but finds a red scarf that smellls so lovely. This triggers his desires for this stranger. he assumes the owner is a human woman not a Hyrokin like himself. Will he find her? But he must find his new family and bring them home. But he tells his father he can't find them. but low and behold they area already here. THe new step mother and new stepsister. what could go wrong or right?

I love the setup for this. Falling in love sight unseen and trying to remove all the obvious obstacles before they became a issue. I love this series so much!

The audio experience adds another layer!

I love this series! I've read the whole series so far, in digital form, and this one is one of my favorites. From the last few books, you know that Prince has been making a nuisance of himself while he's searching and sniffing every human female he comes across, trying to find the elusive human female whose scent has him mesmerized. He really thinks that that woman is his future bound. He's frustrated that he has to go out of his way to pick up his future stepsister, who he thinks is a young girl because it's taking time off of his search for his female. This is my first ever experience listening to a complete audiobook for pleasure, not as part of a class lesson in my English class. I was gifted a copy from the author to give it a try, and I'm really excited to report that I really liked it! I mean, my first choice will always be to read the words in print, but I can now imagine myself listening to an audiobook on my way to work or on a trip, it would be more enjoyable than listening to the same five songs over and over again on the radio and will have the added benefit of avoiding all the political nonsense that is so popular right now. ANYWAY. about this audiobook, I loved how the narrators brought the characters to life with the animated voices and the emotion that they conveyed, but I was confused that the man didn't do ALL of the Prince parts and the woman did not do ALL of the Olivia parts, I think that would have made the experience even better for me, more realistic, you know? I do tend to get distracted, so even though I had to go back a little a few times to catch what I missed, it still only took me a little over two hours to listen to the whole thing....maybe three, I didn't keep strict track of the time. I loved the tone of the female narrator's voice too. Her voice was in a nice and smooth alto pitch and didn't have any aggravating nasally tones that I've heard in some other audio samples that I've listened to. She also delivered her lines in a pleasant conversational manner that completely embodied Olivia's humanity while also giving clues to her personality at the same time. The male narrator had a good growl game going on and captured just the right amount of arrogant self-possession that really sold his performance. I enjoyed the experience of listening to this story, and I'll probably do it again in the future!

Loved

The narration is really good as Beth Roeg and Patrick Zeller reads the POV of Olivia and Prince. Prince has been searching for a human woman for months with only a cloth with her sent on it. Olivia’s mother married his dad so she travels to meet her mother and new husband. That’s when Prince new his step sister is his mate. He must convince her that he’s serious and make her his. He’s an over protective male that shows his woman just how much he loves her forever. Love this book!!

This book was very good. A bit abrupt in some places but a fun light hearted read.
The narration is excellent.

Stepbrother Monster Romance

Prince Brimstone is already searching for his mate after finding her scarf and getting a good whiff of her. Even without knowing who she is, he knows she's the one for him. So imagine his surprise when he gets home from his failed errand to find his fated mate already at home.

Patrick Zeller, of course, does an amazing job voicing the Hyrrokins! It's hard to associate them to any other narrator. Beth Roeg also does a wonderful job voicing our heroine. They both brought the story to life and makes me love and enjoy the characters more.

I enjoy these instant-love, quick reads from this author and this one is no exception. This one is more of a forbidden step-siblings story but still, they are fated mates so there's no stopping true love. With so much to read, I always enjoy coming back to one of these stories by this author, since I know I will always finish with a smile on my face.

Steamrolled by the alien stepbrother

One whiff and he knows she’s his. Same as previous books, he goes down to show it’s all about her. Same as previous books, before you can say boo, she comes onto him and it’s baby making time. The plot is a barely there string bikini: some nonsense about a mafia that never does anything. I finished this only because I stupidly bought the series on sale.
