Such a great beginning to a series

Such a great beginning to a series I'm excited to continue. Sage and Levi are both veterans working in the security business who get off to a rocky start as they go from enemies to lovers. Sage is an independent and fierce woman who is tired of being underestimated for being female, and Levi gets on her bad side by committing that cardinal sin when they first meet, but luckily it doesn't take him long to realize he's made a mistake and see what is in front of him. And the narration was terrific in bringing their story to life.

A quick read and listen. I liked it first book from this author. I just wish there was more suspense and steam but all in all it was a good book. I’ll read more from this author 😊
Troy and Rose did a great job in narrating this audio 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Finding Love

Levi was heartbroken by an ex girlfriend so has given upon finding love. His injury from an IED means he is in constant pain and walks with a limp. He is grumpy when he learns his new employee is a female. Sage stands up for herself and puts Levi in his place. Working together allows them to feel things for each other. Troy Duran and Rose Diario do a great job with the narration.

Entertaining!

This is the first book in the Bluegrass Security Series. I like PJ Fiala's writing. Levi and Sage's story is entertaining. Levi, ex-military and owner of a small-town security, is handsome, stubborn, and very protective. Sage, an ex-Army, is smart, capable, and independent. They are both strong characters. The supporting characters are great. The storyline is interesting, and captivating. I love Rose Dioro, and Troy Duran's voices. They did an excellent job narrating this story. Looking forward to listening to Finish Line, the next book in the series. #StoryOrigin

Great short listen

I really enjoyed this short story! It has all the good stuff. A tough heroine. Sexy times. Conflict. And a mystery. This was my first book by this author and it definitely won’t be my last! Huge thanks to story origin for allowing me to listen and review this book!

I couldn’t get into it

I had a good feeling about this book but just couldn’t get into the story enough it just wasn’t my thing but overall it was okay but not something I would listen to again

Quick Listen!

A quick great entertaining listen. This is the introduction to Bluegrass Security. Levi hires Sage to help him, expecting a man he is surprised when a petite woman walks into his office. There is an instant attraction but their are insecurities Levi is still holding a grudge from when he was serving he got a Dear John letter and then his fiance ended up marrying his best friend and Sage has insecurities about her looks. The narrators did a great job telling this story.

good listen

The mystery of this book wasn't too intriguing, but the overall story was nice enough and the sex scenes are hot.
The narrators are good as tellers of the story.

a good short story- series starter

I loved Sage - a strong, take-charge woman. I enjoyed the story and know better things are coming with this series and looking forward to more.
But, Levi is not the greatest. He was basically a sexist jerk for most of the story. Lots of communication issues in the relationship. Very abrupt endings to all the plot lines.

Narration was perfect - Rose and Troy are excellent choices for this series.
