This book is filled with great (science backed) tools to help people to gain control over an addiction.
Full of inspiring real-life stories and narrated by the author in a way that keeps your attention throughout the book.
The writer just went on and on about the same thing and never really addressed the issues.
Stop asking questions over and over and address the issues instead. Very repetitive.
Was looking forward to reading this but I'm very disappointed.
This is a difficult book to listen to. Perhaps the rating could have been higher if the author would have gotten to the point and stopped plugging herself over and over again.
I will definitely be more cautious about choosing this type of audible book. I will seriously read and consider the certified purchase reviews on Amazon!
The constant plugging of personal credentials and the repetition of words just killed it for me. After awhile, I didn't even care if there might be useful information at some point, I just couldn't listen anymore.

I'm well educated on the do's and don't(s) of dieting and exercise,... But this was a nice refresher and motivational listen to help me get back on track. Because let's face it, knowing and DOing, are two very different things.
At the beginning of the book we are told to also buy the actual book. I wish that I had been told that in the first place. The book is very redundant. She constantly refers to heroin addicts, crack addicts and alcoholics. I get the similarities, but it isn't necessary to repeat over and over again. I could click fast forward and not really miss any information. I should have read more of the reviews before purchasing the book.
