Publisher's summary

For fans of action-adventure romance where danger is just around the corner and the chance for love is on the line. Listen to the first three books in the best-selling Griffin Force series now.

The Captive (Griffin Force, book one)

Former Navy SEAL Jake Williams is the newly appointed head of a task force assigned to rescue a kidnapped American diplomat. Their only hope is Mya Amari, the daughter of a notorious Algerian hostage negotiator, but she is full of secrets and complications - something Jake takes as a personal challenge.

As they grow closer, the threat to the mission escalates, and time runs out for the hostages. Can Jake unravel the web of deception to save them all without getting caught in the crossfire?

Mya Amari has been in hiding nearly her entire life to escape her father's enemies. But when her sister is kidnapped along with an American diplomat, she'll do anything to bring her home, including walking into the enemy's lair.

She doesn't trust anyone, especially the too-handsome-for-his-own-good Commander Williams, but when all her careful plans explode out of control, he's the only one she can turn to with the truth about her family. Is it too little, too late?

The Captain (Griffin Force , book two)

Captain Colt Mitchell is part of the elite Griffin Force team hunting down terrorist Nazer al-Raimi. After an attack on the Canadian Parliament buildings, the team gets good intel on Nazer's whereabouts. They plan to grab him, but when the mission goes wrong, Colt is captured and dragged away.

Bruised, restrained, and disoriented, Colt is stunned to see Brenna Wilson, the Canadian intelligence officer who broke his heart years ago, standing next to Nazer. But how deep is she in the operation, and can she help Colt escape?

After the devastating attack on Canadian soil, Brenna is recruited to go undercover to find out what Nazer is planning next. She's close to her goal, until her former flame Colt Mitchell is taken hostage. Walking away from him has always been her biggest regret, and she knows she has to save him, even if it blows her mission.

Taking matters into her own hands, she pulls off a daring escape, but Colt and Brenna must learn to trust each other again if they want to stay alive. With their hearts and their lives on the line, can they survive long enough to stop Nazer from ravaging another country's sense of security?

The Capture (Griffin Force, book three)

Julian Bennet, head of Griffin Force, finally finds love with Zaya Altes, but the day he buys her an engagement ring, international terrorist Nazer al-Raimi abducts her. Getting her back consumes him, yet it takes nearly six months to find her.

The daring mission to extract her from a hidden prison in Afghanistan is successful, but Zaya has suffered during captivity. Though she's grateful to Julian for breaking her out, she wants nothing to do with him. Before he can show her how much he still loves her, Nazer finds them and vows revenge. Can Julian keep Zaya safe and still stop Nazer, once and for all?

Zaya Altes nearly gave up hope of ever being rescued, but when Griffin Force finally finds her, returning to life is harder than she imagined. While her feelings for Julian are as strong as ever, she feels too broken to recapture what they once had. Instead, Zaya jumps at a chance to trap Nazer, wanting vengeance for what she's endured.

As the final showdown draws near, however, Zaya will have to make an unimaginable choice to let Nazer close to her again. But when a shocking web of betrayal is uncovered in their own ranks, their one chance to capture him is compromised.

Julian and Zaya will put everything on the line, but can they survive this ultimate test and finally reach for their chance at happiness?

Not my usual cup of tea but…

Typically I read clean sweet romance. So when I first started listening to this boxed set, I wondered what I’ve gotten myself into. The military style main characters with their battle readiness was a far cry from my typical romantic figures. But the story did capture my attention and as I listened from the first book to the next in the series, I truly enjoyed each one.

If you’re a fan of the TV series Seal Team, this would be a great read for you. If you’re looking for a Hallmark-style romance, this is not it. But you may want to give it a try anyway. You might be surprised, like I was.

Fantastic

The Griffin Force series is a fantastic action and adventure romance set. The writing is so descriptive, has amazing characters, and has a great flow and timing with the twists that keeps the reader completely caught up in the drama. I appreciate that the series is clean without cursing or anything trashy or too grotesque. The narrator is wonderful and can switch between accents seamlessly, giving authenticity. I love it when a performer can use their voice to pull the listener into the drama without over selling or overacting the scene. Well done!

I don't think you can listen to only one!

I agree that you won't want to stop listening to this series after you start it. It is captivating, suspenseful, kept me on the edge of my seat while I listened. It is necessary to listen to them in order because they build until Nazer gets his just reward in the 3rd book. Each also focuses on a different couple in the Griffin Force team. I call it "clean" because there is no swearing. There is torture in some of the stories but it is tastefully described. This is my first encounter with the author. I very much like her style of writing & am anxious to read the 4th book. Tristen Wright does an excellent job reading the books changing her voice for each person. I am amazed she can keep them straight. I think it would be interesting to see in person how it is done. I was given a copy of this set. This is my voluntary opinion.

Excellent

THE CAPTIVE
Nazer-al-Raimi this was the day after six months to bring him and his organization down. Tyler was in an office, waiting and one didn’t say no to Admiral Moore. The kidnapping of Yasmine Dorval a half sister to Mya Amari, daughter of the negotiator. Tyler would be her bodyguard, a calming influence for her, till they located her father, Ibrahim. Mya was the reason they had a mission and she would be the lead on everything..What they had not expected was she was attacked in the elevator, before they were set to leave on the mission. A good easy flowing plot, the characters seem real, the mission you understand. For them the tension of a dangerous job, the tension between some of the five, makes this a great story to read.
THE CAPTAIN
The author has given another heart pounding story in this series.
Colt is Captain of the Griffen team, when things go wrong and is captured.
Brenna a Canadian intelligence officer is sent in undercover to find off the plans of Nazar, Surprised to see one another, now they must work together on this mission, to stop Nazar. The setting takes one to Afghanistan and Europe and dealing with terrorists. Breanna and Colt were mentioned in the first book.
THE CAPTURE
Zaya was a covert operator, never thinking a cell, in.Afghanistan would be how it would be the end for her. The information he wanted was of Griffen Forces and Julian, and how much they knew about Nazer al Raimi’s network. To do so would be a death warrant for Julian. While Nazer tormented Julian letting him know he had her,,for six months and eighteen days. Seeing the shell of her, and the shock of knowing nothing would be the same again for them, They location had been leaked, letting them now know they had a mole . Finding Nazar has put out a hit on her and Julian.
Deep moving plot, trying to keep her safe, get her well, while keeping 24 hour guards, not knowing what may hit them again.
Good characters, a page turner as this series has been.
Good narration added to each of these stories
