Publisher's summary

Codename: Chaos.

Former THIRDS agent turned TIN operative Dexter J. Daley is a legend. Just ask him, he’ll tell you. Chaos isn’t so much a codename as it is Dex’s state of being. As a spy for the Therian Intelligence Network, Dex has spent the last four years bringing down the bad guys. Hell, his middle name is literally Justice. But a new mission brings him face-to-face with a different kind of monster, one with a weapon that can alter the course of history. Failure is not an option, but as the mission goes from dangerous to deadly, Dex finds himself up against a far more terrifying force, and this time, there’s no escape.

Codename: Atlas.

As former team leader for Destructive Delta and now a TIN operative, Sloane Daley knows what it feels like to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. But no matter the challenge, Sloane knows that together, he and his husband, Dex, can overcome anything. When their latest mission takes a personal turn, Sloane is forced to confront the very thing that created him. Looking back to a past he thought he’d left behind is the least of Sloane’s problems, because the greatest threat he’s about to encounter...is his own husband.

Now to wait for more….

I cannot believe how good this was!!! I admit that I was a bit nervous about this new spin off series…I absolutely loved the THIRDS and especially Dex and Sloane but could they really carry another series?!?!? Heck yeah they can!!! I’m interested in getting to know the new characters introduced and hopefully we get more updates from Destructive Delta in the comjng books!
I was really disappointed when I heard a different narrator was being brought in but Gary did a pretty good job taking over. I wish the voices for Dex and Sloane were a bit more distinct, there were a few times when I couldn’t tell who was supposed to be talking but otherwise Gary did great.

Great start to this spin-off

I had forgotten how much I missed these guys. I actually miss the entire crew from the Thirds series. So, is it a shock that Dex's code name is Chaos? It is perfect because wherever he goes, chaos ensues. We start off with our boys on a mission w/new TIN character. Even though Dex can't do anything by normal means, he does get the job done. I love all the silly code names that he gives the others. We are then thrown into a serious heartbreaking mission. It is so much darker, IMO, then any of the other stories. We have a kidnapped Therian who is slated to be auctioned off to the highest bidder by an evil POS who also got his hands on the melanoe virus. He has invited a select few of very rich evil people & their "pets" to the auction yes, their "pets" are "domesticated" Therians. Our boys go undercover & how the Therian's are treated made my blood boil. There is Therian trafficking, knowledge of rape (not on page), abuse & possible pedophilia going on amongst this group. What our boys went through really put them to the test, but their bond as mates helped keep them strong. There are things that come to light that I can't wait to see how the author explores in more detail & see how far that is going to go. I have to say that this did keep me on the edge of my seat & up way too late reading because I couldn't put it down. Even though the Thirds are not part of their team any longer, some old faces do pop up. I can't wait for the next book.

OH MY GOD

[Some spoilers ahead !!] I LOVE THIS SERIES. I just spent the past 2 weeks binging thirds, and now finished book one of TIN. and what can I say. these books are AMAZING truly. I was worried at 1st I wouldn't like the new narrator but I LOVED HIM. the emotion in the voices added to the atmosphere, even the small laughs at sentences was great. I have never cried over a book before but Kennleys death... the emotion behind that part and Dexs reaction was so much. I have been wanting Dex to become more.... feral... since we found out about the mutation and I am so glad this book covered more of that. I am curious about Roe and can't wait to find out more about her !! see you all in the next book 🫡

Great character continuity and excellent narrator

Even though Dex is changing, he’s still Dex and I’m glad to see Sloan flexing his Therian strength.

There are a few complaints in these comments about the change in narrators, but I love this one! He nails Dexter’s bubbly personality and Sloan’s stoicism. I embrace the change and hope you stick with him.

So Happy the Adventures Are Not Over

I absolutely love Charlie Cochet's created worlds.
I am excited about new changes in Dex. Hope to see Sloane increase as well. The bond between Dex and Sloane is reciprocal.
Very excited about this new series and I appreciate the audio book component. I never have to put my book down.

Wow Charlie Cochet did it again ❤️❤️👏

I’m loving this new Tin series and absolutely can’t wait for the next one. It did take some getting use to for the new narration but I feel like it was needed some how it signified their growth not just from Thirds but in their personal lives as well. Gary Furlong did a spectacular job on this. I’m just so excited that cliffhanger ending had me so excited for what’s to come with Sloan and Dex, if you have not read or listen to the Thirds series I highly recommend it.

Action, fun, awesome!

There’s something about reading a spin-off series that is just comforting. You already know and love the characters and have a feel for the writing style. This new TIN series is familiar, but with a new, fresh, exciting plot! Dex and Sloan are the main focus, and it’s been 4 years that they’ve been married. They’ve been running ops for TIN this whole time, but are about to be pushed to their limits, personally and professionally. Incredible story, great narration!

So freaking good!

Wow! Just wow! Gary Furlong delivers a 5 star narration for sure. I was excited to see that he was narrating for this new series of Charlie Cochet’s. I loved the THIRDS and was used to the previous narrator but I’ve always loved Gary’s performances. He manages to keep the high energy of Dex, the grumpiness of Ash and everyone else in between all while putting his own spin on the characters. He does a great job slipping between accents for the various characters as well.

Good next step

I like this continuation of the story line and evolution of the characters. I also really like the change in narrator. The character voices sounded much more like their descriptions.
