Surpassed my expectations

After starting the book, I almost quit when I realized it was interview style but after I listen to it, I am glad I did not. It was a tremendous book, and I am going to put these action items into my life.

Motivation

I found this book to be very motivating. It’s a constant reminder that you can do better and be better at what you do. I had a hard time not trying to finish it in one day. I love that it made me rethink my daily routines and how to put new ones into motion.

Some good nuggets, but..

There are some good, solid actionable methodologies in here. But jeez.. the guy could cut half the book out if he stopped bragging about himself before he answers every question. It really was way too much repetition of how amazing he is, with many of the anecdotes sounding exaggerated. The Q&A format doesn’t work here.. because the interviewer really had to keep him on track with actually answering the question, after each ‘amazing’ story. This author was probably better years ago. If you’re bragging about writing a new book every 90 days.. well, that explains the quality of this one’s content.

Really good listen. Many of the stories & examples used are repeats of other books by the author.
