A great book!

So I’m my first books review I was a bit on the fence but I will say I enjoyed this book much more than the last and am actually really looking forward to book 3 to see how the world will continue to grow and the people they will meet!

Better than the 1st.

I didn't think that the story could get better than in book 1. I thought it would just continue as awesome as it was. But the author, as chef Emeril says, kicked it up a notch, "BAM!"
The harem has a goddess to bless and guide them, and their training and abilities help them overcome the bad guys from the gods on the evil side. Hopefully, they are able to find a wonderful and safe sanctuary for themselves soon.
If you liked book 1, I think you are going to LOVE book 2.
The writing and narration are great even though there are a few obvious mispronounciantions.
I was gifted this book with the expectation of an honest review.
I'm giving this book a 7 out of 5 stars.

Pretty freaking good

It started a little slow for me but picked right up.
The world building in this series is top notch, it’s explained extremely well. The progression is a little slow but I don’t feel like it takes anything away from the story. The narrators did an amazing job.

it was a good story and very well written. it kept me entertained and invested wanting Jake to win

Great follow up

This book is even better then the first. I like that characters take the time to build relationships while getting stronger.

Another masterpiece from JJ Bookerson

What did you like or dislike:
I can’t believe it, but the author have somehow outdone himself with the newest installment in his series, “Fortress Assault” (Audiobook)
Plus we’re introduced to the absolute fan favorite Love Interest of the Series, ‘BloodBerri’, a totally adorable Dark Lamia, and Anne did an excellent job on voicing her (Blood and Berri) as she did the others

Whom would you recommend this book to:
Any LitRPG fan who also likes some cultivation mixed in, that absolutely loves listening to a lot of very fun and sometimes ‘spicy’ moments, plus doesn’t mind great romance(s) with multiple love interests (harem)

love this series with great actors that really bring these characters to life this series has lots of action

Not nearly as good as the first one

About a third of this book is about one of the supporting characters. I think the author went way too far as it was all about what they’ll do in the future. Very we disappointed after the first book.

Anne and Jack do an excellent job narrating this story. honestly, I can't wait for more!
