I love this author
camille picott is one of my favorites authors. this last book had me skipping a lot of fluff such as late agonizing over the kids, it gets redundant. I also felt myself cringing at any other female voice besides kate's & Jessica, I suppose if your under 30 you have to sound like a baby. don't get me wrong Druyor is great & I love listening to her she doesn't need to be so drastic in the female voices.

This was as excellent as I expected! Great way to tie up the on going story. Hope this isn’t the last of the story. So many options for this story to go. If your a fan of zombie apocalyptic novels. You will definitely enjoy this book series

A Decent Story if you Ignore the Flaws
Just as the title reads you’ll probably enjoy this series even if it has problems. First the cons: 1. be aware, rape trigger warning is a must know. Just go into it knowing it’ll happen more than once. 2. I’m not a huge fan of the narrator, or the voices she chooses for a lot of them, it’s bad and distracting. 3. The viability of being an ultra runner during an ZA is laughable (the caloric needs, how exhausted you’d be, etc) buuuuut it’s the ZA which isn’t anything but fiction to begin with so I’ll give it a pass. 4. Some audio issues/quality control issues with the recording itself happens a few times. The pros: it’s a fast paced, entertaining story beyond the flaws, just ignore the problems and try to have fun.

Binged the series - great read!
I started reading Undead Ultra because I bought a package of the first books in Camille Picott’s series. I was a bit hesitant because I am not a runner and frankly the notion of a running high mystifies me. But this series was outstanding - action packed with great characters and the ultra running was fascinating. I did not love all the voices selected for characters (squeaky women and Ben sounded unappealingly old and odd). But overall the narration was solid..I would definitely recommend the series and look forward to reading more from Camille.
