Worth the wait!

OMGGGG! I have been waiting for a new book from this series and MAN, oh MAN!!! I’m actually still listening to Forever Freed but I had to take a minute to give BIG kudos to Kathleen Brooks for (another) JOB WELL DONE!! From the very first book in the very first series; I’ve wanted to move to a place like Shadows Landing & meet/have friends like these!

Keep’em coming, Kathleen! These books are an escape for me. I’m a stay at home mom of a 12 & 5 yr old (& 2 fur babies). These books transport me into another place!

Another great story and audible

What can I say...I love Kathleen Brooks Bluegrass series...and Jackson and Evie’s story is no exception. And Eric Dove does his usual great job! I get the ebook first and then I get the audible...they are that good! Now the downside...waiting for the next book!

First there was another review that this book promoted domestic violence. I don’t think we listened to the same book!

Another great visit to Keenston! Strong women, and respectful men who help new women find their strength!

Always a great choice to pick up her novels

If you haven’t tried Kathleen Brooks novels you’re truly missing out. Her characters are people you root for. The fictional town is one you both wish to live in and are thankful you don’t. If you grew up in a small town you look at the betting and overly involved neighbors and either look back fondly or are glad you’re no longer there. Or both....

Another great book from Kathleen Brooks

It’s always great to return to Kingston, Kentucky Ms. Brooks knows how to balance suspense with humor.
This book is no exception. I enjoyed it very much!!

She did it again!!!

Kathleen is awesome when writing stories about everyone in the Keeneston community. I find myself waiting patiently for the next story and she does not disappoint. I love these town's folk and how they all band together to keep everyone safe. We need to get everyone married off though so lots of books still to come. Jackson and Evie's story went above and beyond! What a ride! I laughed, cried and laughed some more.

Always a Treat

Any titled book that has Kathleen Brooks as author. Are all I need to see and these old finger's are clicking on buy, buy, buy! This little gal really has the talent to make a story come a live. I grab them when they hit Kindle but really enjoy listening to Eric G. Dove narrate them. The towns she has united are absolutely charming. And I can't think of anybody that wouldn't love living in either of them. You can bet there will always be suspense and humor in her books. This one really tickled my old funny bone. Believe me I will be listening to this one over and over again.

Never disappointed

Another great book. Laugh out loud moments, tears and hold your breath suspense. Kathleen Brooks never disappoints! Eric does an amazing job as narrator!

Listened to Several Times

I enjoy this series from the beginning. I have them in Audio and go back to them often to re listen. This one is a re-listen while waiting for the next book. I’m not sure why someone said the author promoted violence in this book, especially by the Keeneston family. I don’t think they’ve read the same books I have. The narrator is good and easy to listen to.

It’s hard waiting for the next book either from Keeneston or Shadows Landing. I can’t wait to see if the firefighters and Katie Woodson find love. Oh and it’s time to reveal the panty dropper. Hint hint.

Omg that was great!!

Ms. KB please don't stop writing books and please always have Mr. Dove or Ms. Plummer narrate your books. This one was as good as all of the others. I laughed and enjoyed it so much. Very nicely done can't wait to listen to more. please put a few more of your books on Audible Escape so us members can read them there.
