Intriguing start

This is an intriguing start and does end in a bit of a cliffhanger, it's a little slow to start with very few answers and a whole lot of questions, but it's an interesting story that holds your attention and makes you want to know what is going on, Narration is done well.

Good Start to Series!

This was my first Michelle Ziegler book and the first one in this series.  Fiona lives with her aunt and thinks she is a witch with no powers until her shifter mates, Aiden, Noah, and Drake, come to claim her on her birthday. Fiona is very surprised about this and the mates are also surprised to find out that she doesn’t know that she is a wolf shifter. They are very handsome, possessive, and protective and can’t wait to start their lives with her. After some time, she decides to go home with them and their story begins.  This was a very steamy story. I also found some funny times and some mysteries that need to be solved.  There is a lot left unanswered, so I can’t wait to listen to the next book in this series.  All of the narrators did a great job with the book.  #AudiobookObsession #TheFlock #PinkFlamingoProductions

First Comes Wolves, in my opinion, is a good start to a paranormal series. Fiona grew up thinking she was a witch who didn't have powers but SURPRISE! She's actually a wolf shifter that has 3 mates. I liked how FCW was not the normal shifter mates insta love where they had to claim each other the instant they find each other. I liked how the men waited until Fiona knew she wanted them completely before they mated with her.

For the most part I did enjoy the narrators but I felt like the narrator that voiced Aiden had a whiny quality to his voice. Other than that I had nothing else that I thought was wrong with the story! I am glad I have the second story so I can immediately jump to it!

good palate cleanser

I listen to this on audible and the voices were really good! The story in all way a cute fast read. It has an interesting story but there wasn't much depth to it. It moved rather quickly and I didn't get a chance to actually care about the characters. But a good palate cleanser

LOVE this!!

I read A LOT of paranormal/paranormal romance/ urban fantasy books. And a very large chunk of them have been reverse harem shifter type of book. You would think that I would have read every plot line possible by now. And while there are always going to be a little cross over when you read so many of the same types of books again. But I was impressed by this one. Definitely a different take on the whole mate finding process. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward greatly to book #2! Especially with the KILLER cliff-hanger that Michelle left us in. If your the type who doesn't understand that most series have cliff-hangers and that's going to upset you, then maybe pass on pretty much every series out there! (lol).
This audiobook had me hooked before chapter one was even half over. I could tell this was going to be great. What a birthday for Fiona. Life would be so much simpler if on your birthday, when you are ready, three extremally sexy men show up and whisk you away to a place where you belong. Oh, and you went from thinking your a dud of a witch to part of some very big power. Sign me up! I think mine are a little late I guess.
Another amazing thing about the book is that there are 4 narrators. Four main characters and 4 narrators. Sarah Puckett did her same amazing performance as always. She has such a sweet yet sexy voice. And I'm pretty sure we have the same type in books, if she's only narrating books she likes anyway. (lol). Jay Adler is another voice I recognized. As soon as I heard him speak I thought MOTHMAN!! (A Beatrix Hollow book, another great one btw) All 4 did great. It was cool having so many different narrators. It definitely brought a little something extra to the book. I am really looking forward to book 2!!!!

new to me

a good set up for a new to my author. I got this one because I have enjoyed many books that Sarah has narrated. This one did not disappoint I'll continue listening to this series.

Witches and shifters, sounds like our fmc may be both? I Dino, three mates all wolf shifters.
Quite short, quite a few narrators in this one, I enjoyed that I think the narration style is borderline full cast.
If continue the story at some point however it doesn’t give me the need to run and grab the next one.

Wow!!

This was a great reverse-harem story! The men are unique and fun - Drake is the Alpha, controlled but hot-headed too, worrying about his pack and his legacy. Noah is sweet, calm, quiet, he is the rock that keeps the other two grounded. Aiden is charming and funny, he is the one that helps with communications and relationships with outsiders. The three of them were raised as brothers, Noah and Aiden are Drake's backup in every sense of the word. But as time has gone by the three of them cannot be truly connected as one until they find their true mate and then they can be as strong as they were meant to be by the Goddess - strong enough to be able to keep the peace which is very quickly becoming more difficult. That brings in Fiona, a woman who was abandoned by her parents in the hands of their witch friend. Fiona grew up wondering why she could not access her magic, so boy was she surprised to learn that she was a wolf. Her aunt told her that she was engaged but never told her that she was promised to the 3 most powerful wolves.

I loved the characters and I couldn’t stop listening, and then when I suddenly was done, I had to immediately get the next book and start listening! I definitely would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a story about a woman who is coming into her own and 3 sexy wolves along for the ride.

Great narration of a good shifter reverse harem

The narration of this book is very well done. Sarah Puckett is one of my very favorite narrators to listen to. I first heard her voice for The Fae Chronicles and always know I'll enjoy the listen if she's narrating. All of the male narrators did great as well, and in the future, when I see them listed, it will be an easy choice. I have listened to many from Pink Flamingo Productions, and I have enjoyed every single one. The sound was consistent with no distracting background noises. it was easy to listen to and get pulled into the story. I highly recommend the audio version for this book.

The writing of this book was good and the detail was as well. It is a Reverse Harem shifter romance with a good story. I liked the story and the characters overall and will probably read/listen to the next book in the series at some point.

my heat rating is based on the amount of occurrence, the length of scenes, how explicit/detailed the scenes are, and how filthy/unconventional. This rates about a 3/5.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this book. I love the twist of her not knowing what she really was before she met her mates. It makes for a more interesting story. The characters are great and the world building engrossing. The narrators we a bit off at times, but weren't terrible.
