Because if there's anyone who has no business playing a sport that requires a helmet, pads, and a liability waiver, it's this girl. The same girl who once knocked herself out during a game of backyard baseball. I stepped up to the plate, pulled the bat back a little too far to swing, and clocked myself in the back of the skull. Great story, excellent narration
This story was right up my alley- not too much angst or tension which was resolved quickly and happily😊 I loved the pace of it and the development of the characters. What I especially enjoyed was the narration! It was crisp and clear, with just enough feeling in the delivery to transport me into the story and really get invested in the characters. The differences in the characters’ voices were easily distinguishable and didn’t detract from the flow of the story. The narrator’s voice was smooth and extremely pleasant to listen to. I loved it! Well done!
