Finally
Z has waited long enough to claim his woman, he has retired from being Chief at MI6 and is looking forward to being with his lady tonight. Leighton "George" Marietta has known that if she does not have Z, she will be alone for the rest of her life. As Z steps into the hired car, he is abducted by Puck, who holds a gun on him.
Most of the book on Z’s part is a history of his life with his first wife and later just him and the children, as his wife dies young. This leaves him with to raise Quint and Wren on his own. Later on, his adoption of Decker when he was a teenager.
No one thinks that he would not show up for the date that they have waited four years for. It is all boots on the ground to finds the former Chief.
Loved this story, the pair finally get what they have deprived themselves. The narrators were perfect for the story
