On the morning of Lily's 25th birthday, it's time to open the very last letter written to her by her beloved mother, who died when she was eight.
Learning more about the first and only real love of her mum's life is a revelation. On the same day, Lily also meets Eddie Tessler, a man fleeing fame who just might have the ability to change her world in unimaginable ways. But her childhood friend, Dan, has his own reasons for not wanting Lily to get too carried away by Eddie's attentions.
Before long, secrets begin to emerge, and Lily's friends and family become involved. In the beautiful Cotswold village of Stanton Langley, nothing will ever be the same again....

"Very light reading - ok but certainly not deep!"
The narration was a little too lightweight for me
I really didn't care enough about her characters
Too light-hearted at times
Not really to my taste - sorry
what a fantastic story to listen to, very well read and a joy to hear
"Well worth a listen"
I really enjoyed listening to this book brilliant story line, and great narration, I would recommend a listen.
Ideal holiday read - predictable but
Sweet - lovely voice really enjoyed listening
I could see this being made in to a TV series
heart warming and amusing from the start to the end. wrapped me up with a glow.
"A fantastic well narrated story."
A beautifully written book and a romantic love story in the background. Highly recommended an audio book suitable for long journeys.
"A bit unrealistic for my liking."
I really struggled to take the narrators male voice seriously. Already struggling with the unrealistic story was made more difficult by the narrator.
I'm sure for some it will be the light hearted romance needed.
"You and Me, Always"
An ideal book to listen to over Valentine's weekend.
I really enjoyed listening to the story.
Highly entertaining and a good read!!!
"Fantastic as always."
I loved this new Jill Mansell book! As always a great read. Jill really knows how to make a story come to life. The narrator tells the story well. All in all a good book.
