Wicked Appetite
Evanovich spun off the character Diesel from the "Plum Series". This follows the same light hearted, tongue in cheek style. The characters are interesting and funny. This was an ideal release for the Halloween season. This book leaves you laughing. Lorelei King is great narrating this book. Evanovich is a master of dialog.

Would you try another book from Janet Evanovich and/or Lorelei King?

That the next book in this series is not available yet!

Not at all - in fact I found this book a great deal more enjoyable as an audio than in hardcover.

This one made me laugh out loud - and was simply fun. Janet Evanovich and Lorelei King have a combined talent that makes quirky characters into people that you would really like to meet. I actually like this one much better as an audio book than I did in print and can't wait for the next book in the series.

entertaining but fluffy
I enjoy Evonovich's Stephanie Plum series and occasionally try one of the stand alone books. This was, as can be expected well within the realm of that type of book, but in this case with magical elements. Cute, entertaining, fluffy. About what you would expect in a quick read of this genre.

I like Muzzy and her friends, and the ever- inscrutable Diesel! Karl the monkey is the books breakout star though.
