Soldier BOY meets special-needs GIRL
Both main characters had a fascinating background & had to overcome steep odds to survive day-to-day life. As they come together it becomes apparent that where one fails, the other excels & one's strengths compliment the other's weaknesses. I really enjoyed the whole story.

I love that she took a autistic person to do a story about showing us how they might see things and that even handicapped she was still a strong independent person.

Be prepared...
Although I ended up enjoying this book I was surprised by an element of magic and special talents in the characters and a good portrayal of an autistic young woman in the lead. This should put a new spin on book description for you.

The story was great along with the characters.
