In these marvelous stories of the West, Louis L'Amour tells of travelers, gunfighters, homesteaders, and adventurers: men and women making hard and sudden choices and fighting battles that could cut a person's life short--or open up a bold new future on the American frontier.

this story was enjoyable to listen to and the cast did thier work well. i keep enjoying these short stories by this author. and i really like the lack of pessimism in the authors work. there is hope and working hard for a better day.
Interested in education, sociology, politics, cultural studies, Latino/Hispanic studies and the Great Books.
The background noise was very distracting and it was hard to listen to this story, especially while I'm working on something else at the same time.
I have a lot of Louis L'Amour books but only two dramatization, I don't really care for them. I would try this book again if not a dramatization.
