One Great Listen

Narrator has many characters to portray and does an excellent job with them all. #3 book and the the story is superb. 2nd time around for me and the story.

I love this book. The story is great and you just can feel the lives of the characters!

Where does Voyager rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This story (saga!) has captured my interest enough that I am downloading the fourth book, much to my own surprise! I am not a romance novel kind of reader, but after the first book it becomes more historical fiction and the story is compelling.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Voyager?

Too many memorable moments to count; the only thing that keeps them from being cliff-hangers is that this is book three and I know there are eight books in the series with another one on the way. So of course she makes it!

What does Davina Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her many voices, accents, and the emotion she conveys really carry the story along.

If you could take any character from Voyager out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Dinner? Claire. Dancing? Jamie.

This is a surprisingly good series. If you can get through all the semi porn of the first book, this is a great story!

I Can't Get Enough!!

I didn't think I could be surprised more but I was wrong. I hadn't imagined the things to come. On another note, I love Davina Porter's narration. Sometimes I get so caught up in the story that I forget there's just one person giving life to ALL the characters. I think I could probably listen to her read an encyclopedia aloud. OH YES! For you youngins that don't know what an Encyclopedia is Google it. 😉
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! They seem to get better with each new book. Now I'm going to start the next one.

It's a great book if somewhat to much. a lot happens. characters come and go with scares enough time to remember some. and of course the narrators voice is finally after three novels no longer annoying to md.

Diana Gabaldon has a way of weaving a story that will keep you one edge of your seat. They don't read like the same book over and over with small variances. I love this series. I also love Davina Porter! She is a wonderful narrator! I would listen to any story she told!!!
