Also disappointed

I enjoyed the previous books in this series. The narrator was always funny and made the story better but in ths book the story is so dull and the narrator speaks so slowly I can lose interest from one sentence to the next. It is actually irritating to listen to.

Lead character is a dit

Lead character was such a disappointing queen. It’s the 4th or 5th book and she still doesn’t take her role seriously nor does she care about her vampire people. She obviously values the norms’ lives over her people. The virtue signaling is so tiresome in this genre. Where are the books where the newly turned take ownership of their new lives instead of complaining endlessly about staying beautiful, young, rich and having great swx? (sigh) This is the last one for me. I’m tired of this ungrateful dit, as in ditsy.

Undead and unpopular

I generally enjoy this genre but all I can say is that the heroine is self obsessed and whines continually. The occasional bits of humour passed me by and all I can say is that this book passed some time on the long commute to work. I could not recommend it

A plot with some depth and humor.

Loved Nancy's voice, only redeeming quality.

What character would you cut from Undead and Unpopular?

I wouldn't cut anyone, I would just develop them and give them a little more depth this far in.

Bailing on the series....don't hail the queen.

Not my type of story

Just couldn't find anything funning or even interesting in this book. Not my genre.

I feel like this author is stringing along readers

I love books that run in series, ie. Sookie Stackhouse, Nice Girls Don's,.., etc, but this author writes books that are read in 5 hours and charges more than any other series. This is the reason I stopped listening to her books. She hasn't got near the talent of Charlaine Harris or Molly Harper. I rated the performance high because I like the narrator, and I gae the story and overall 2 because, the story line is good escapism, but, I don't like being taken advantage of or having the characters held hostage by the author.

Dead and boring

I just didn’t like this one! It was just dead from the start. I loved the characters in the beginning but now they are lifeless and boring. Not my favorite book

not for me

Struggled to finish. Not sure what I expected but it was not for me, won't be reading any others by her.

What happened... Missing book??

Near as I can tell, I have been reading them all, last was Undead and Unreturnable. But this book starts off sounding like there is a whole missing book in the time line!!
Who is Antonia the werewolf and the story mentioned about some vampire going out and tricking women into committing suicide.
Either there were some short stories I missed, or she just skipped some books to randomly introduce new characters.

What happened????

I'm still trying to figure out what happened with this book. The narrator (all though the same person) read this book at a snails pass and paused for what seemed like 30 seconds at the end of each statement. I also felt like I was missing information in this book...Like who is this werewolf chick and when did the fiend become super normal. I've listen to the other four unabridged books and still can't find any mention of this women...This book makes me not want to listen to the other four books...
