In the days leading up to The Big Day, Betsy seems to have a full house - and the wedding guests have yet to arrive. Along with her human buddies, there's a ghost, a werewolf, and a fiend crashing at her place. And though her fiancé, Vampire King Eric Sinclair, conveniently disappears when the conversation turns to seating charts and flower arrangements, he does manage to make his oh-so-sexy presence known at other moments.
Cold feet are no surprise, especially with an undead groom. But when Sinclair truly goes missing, and not just to avoid wedding preparations, along with most of her friends and loved ones, Betsy is frantic. Alone and afraid for the fate of everyone she loves, Betsy can't trust anyone as she tries to find them and whoever is behind all the disappearances. And what happens next will shake the foundation of the vampire world forever.
Dying for more? Don't miss the other titles in the Undead series.

I love this series. They are entertaining and who does not appreciate a vampire fashionista? Very much like a vampire Evanovich. Entertaining and a great listen. Narration is fantastic.
This is a series so begin with the first book so you will get all of the 'inside jokes'.
these are by far the series I have listened to, funny, quirk, and somewhat over the top, they are fun and very enjoyable, you fall in love with Besty, and laugh along with her in her trial & error of learning how to live as the Vampire Queen.. funny FUNNY...
be sure to start at book one and go in order..
I prefer urban/para romance right now for the fantasy aspect, but I listen to other genres as well.
It still has a good amount of funny parts. The whining has escalated but it hasn't overshadowed the funny bits. Betsy does seem more selfish, but it is the brides big day. I still enjoyed the book, but this one isn't as good as the books from the beginning of the series.
Betsy and Sinclair are finally getting married
As usual she is the best voice for the parts because she is the voice you expect to hear.
The books feel like they are slipping. Not as smartly funny as they used to be. I used to laugh so hard sometimes it hurt. Now, not as much. I wish it would get better
This series is funny, however, it seems like the later books are getting shorter and shorter so the author can milk the revenue. The books are also getting more expensive. While I like the stories and her sense of humor, I am debating whether or not to continue the series. I read a note from the author somewhere else that thanks to her readers she now can wear the expensive shoes the main character loves, perhaps she needs a new protagonist instead of resting on her laurels. I will have to support another up and coming author who knows how to respect her audience, instead of bragging to them about how she went from struggling to pay her bills to being able to wear Jimmy Choo's. Get your priorities straight and give your readers their moneys worth.
Sci-fi, detective, cozy. Only give 5s to those books I think stand above the rest. 4 is a good solid book. 3 is average, nothing special.
Betsy gets a cool new power. She's especially whiny in this one. Good story overall.
Say something about yourself!
I've read many vampire books and I'm always looking for a good series. When I read the first book in this series I thought it was hysterical. I laughed out loud many times at Betsy's rants and witty comebacks. The second book in the series was easily my favorite and I fell in love with other characters like Mark.
But by the third book I found myself fast forwarding past the rants I use to find funny. The main character Betsy just starts to become extremely annoying. The constant "poor me" rants and whining started to drive me crazy. I only made it to book 7 before I couldn't take what the main character had turned into anymore.
I don't regret the first couple credits I burned on this series and if you're still digging it by book 3 you may just end up liking the whole series. Enjoy it for the mindless entertainment.
I really enjoyed this final book in the series. Betsy's character has really developed since the first book.
I was so sorry to finish this book and hope she writes another one really soon!
