Publisher's summary

When you spend your life battling death, who has time for love?

Dr. Ali Torveau knows just how fragile life can be - she sees death and tragedy every day in the trauma unit. Battling the dark forces of fate is her life's work and she doesn't want or need anything else, certainly nothing as transient as love. Plenty of women try to change her mind, but she never has any trouble saying no. Not until the day firefighter Beau Cross shows up in her ER and sets Ali’s carefully ordered world aflame.

narrator is really dry.

great characters. the nature of their individual struggles was interesting and entertaining. however, the narrator was really dry. her delivery of the intimate scenes was rather awkward. sounds like she's never had sex before. even things like Beau's pick up lines sounded weird.

Up to the high standard

What did you love best about Trauma Alert?

It's a great addition to the Radcliffe family of tales. You can always count on her and therefore I buy everything she writes.

I have Narrator Trauma

I don't know if I would have enjoyed this tale more of the serious Trauma doctor Ali ,battling her feelings for the hot and ripped firer fighter Beau, although not very hard if it wasn't was read by somebody who sounded like she was reading from a cook book her rhythm is of and with this kind of novel you need that ,granted this is not a a classic by any means but it didn't deserve this .It could have been so much better with a better narrator .

Sorry line good

this has to be the most tragic, awful, worst narration I have ever heard! There was no emotion whatsoever when the emotion was clearly evident by the words. this narrator ruin this book and it should be done again by someone else so that the story could be told better!

Six degrees and all that

Fantastic story with more character development for recurring characters in some of Radclyffe's books. But it is

Did not disappoint!

I loved Trauma Alert. Radclyffe is my favorite author. I loved the action. It took me a few chapters to appreciate the narrator, but all in all a great read, or listen!

The narrator ruined it for me

So monotonous I could hardly tell the characters apart, it lacked emotion like a bad porno. It might have been a whole different story if it was read right.

Narrator

The narrator was awful. Story was good and interesting. Prefer someone else reading it allowed. Hopefully there is a new narrator for future books.
