HUGELY disappointed. .........
as a true "horror" fan and a reader/listener to many thriller/horror books I was mistakenly excited by the title and the description of this book.
There are approx 31 short stories in this collection each approx 30 min long. A few were actuary good stories, tho I wouldn't say they'd "keep me awake" . There are also a few good narrators, not many, but a few.
it seems the best stories were in the beginning of the book and a scant few mixed in with a good one at the end.
Personally, it wad a waste of my listening time , none compare to a good Stephen King, Jack Kilborn , JA Konrath, Dean Koontz, John Locke, etc.

Complete stories instead of "samples".

It is not the characters but the incomplete stories. Sounds like a commercial to by more books. Total waste of time.

I liked it!
I DID like it, even after reading all the negative reviews. I liked the length of the stories and the variety of subjects, and the introduction to authors I didn’t usually read.
And
I must admit I was pleasantly surprised after reading all the bad stuff.
I can’t help it. I LIKED IT. SO there!!!

The bulk of this book felt like advertising...
My wife and I couldn't get through a single story. After listening to the long introductions of the writers, the bios, and everything else that preceeded the actual stories we were too annoyed to enjoy the stories themselves. Just start the story and let the material (good, bad or ortherwise) speak for itself.
