Entertaining, captivating, thrilling
Sad to say but my favorite character was Rafar Prince of Babylon. Frank does his voice so well. When he speaks you listen.
Each characters voice is well executed. I would run at night while listening to this book, and there were times I was frightened.
Marshall Hogan. Because that man leads an interesting life.
This audiobook might seem old school, but it's well worth the money. It was well done and is still holding its weight today.
Frank did an AMAZING job reading the book and bringing the true essence of the experience to life. It made my commute incredibly enjoyable for days...because I listened to it three times in a row.
Definitely worth the listen!
This is a great book well worth a listen. The only problem I have is with the narrator. I think he only narrates the abridged version of a couple of his books. IMHO Peretti is as good a narrator as he is an author and I wish he would narrate all of his books unabridged. I would also like to see the Cooper Kids Adventures (narrated by Peretti) published someday!
I wanted the full novel, but this is summaries of each chapter. It still tells the story, but did not meet my expectations. Would not have purchased had I known, should have looked closer at the description.
I always loved this book, and I have heard this audio book several times before. The only real problem is the abridgement. Aside from that, the story is very good, the narration is wonderful, and the production quality higher than most. While I wish it were longer, I can safely say it is still one of my very favorite audio books.
I read the book when recommended by a friend. I liked it...sort of a suspenseful story about the spiritual world. But I personally liked the author reading it because it was his words orginally and he had audio effects added so it was even more entertaining and fun...wished it was unabridged. ..oh well..it was a good listen anyway.
I would take out the sound effects.
His narration was fine.
It might be popular but not for me.
The book seems to be ideal for vary active christians? The supernatural links to what happens is very good. The plot characters do not have much of a backstory. It is churlish of me to criticise when I have not written any books myself, so apologies to the author.
Having read this book before I had pre conceived ideas but being able to just sit there and listen the words became real and the sound effects and music made it a compelling book
