Thank you Jack for a wonderful performance. I really enjoyed listening. The slight echo that others mentioned and their reviews was hardly noticeable you would have to really try to hear it, and it didn't affect the story at all for me. Well done!

Awesome Book! Spiritual Warfare in Action

If you understand the power of prayer and are aware of the spiritual warfare that believers are engaged in daily,
If you want an inside view of what happens in the supernatural, you should read this book.

I read the book about 15 years ago and saw this audio version so I purchased it to re-read.
Loved it as much this time as the first time.

Just brilliant!

I first read this book nearly 15 maybe even close to 20 years ago. I feel it gives a sense of what spiritual warfare just might be like and why it is so very important to pray for each other and for our world.

The author brilliantly imparts an excellent description of what is happening in the heavenlies. Be sure to read/listen to Piecing the Darkness, also by Frank Peretti.

Truly Inspired Look At How Spiritual and physical realms effect each other.

Frank Peretti’s incredibly detailed writing giving us insights and revelations of the very real (though unseen) spiritual realm around us, filled with both Angels & demons facing off in battle for souls of men; is in my opinion the “closest to reality” portrayal of the very real battle for our hearts and souls, going on around us, and effecting our lives in ways most of us rarely understand.

Has always stirred up my emotions, and increased my faith. Helping me to be more mindful of the true purpose of life. Which is to know and have relationship with Jesus Christ, and honor our Heavenly Father, while spreading the message and reality of The Love, and Gospel of Jesus Christ. I’ve bought, read, and shared the paperback novels multiple times. And now have bought the audiobooks. And would highly recommend this series to anyone. Especially Christians who are looking for a better understanding of what Paul meant when he said we battle not against flesh & blood, but against the powers and principalities of darkness.

Christian wake-up call

This is fiction and I know it, but as a Christian I’m encouraged to pray more and consider the “powers and principalities” that our Bible warns us about but science tells us cannot be. Please listen.

Many reviews complain about the audio. The reader does fine. The sound system has some annoying echo sometimes but it’s not worth skipping the title. This is a great read.

A key note to me in my faith—those demon possessed in this story mostly start with fortune telling and witchcraft, and there are churches that fail to tell about Jesus. Seems relevant to me in 2021. Lots of Christians could reconsider what matters.

I hope you enjoy this read as I did.

Absolutely excellent!

Years ago, I read this book (when it first came out) and was engrossed. The audible version did not disappoint. Fantastically told, a thoroughly enjoyable listen!!!
