One night, Molly's penchant for running into trouble runs her right into Kevin himself, turning her world upside down. Heartbreak follows, and just when she's certain things can't get worse, Kevin forces his way back into her life. She and Kevin battle their attraction while trying to cope with an aging sexpot actress and a pair of teenage newlyweds.
Their careers and lives are in crisis, yet they can't seem to stay away from each other. Sometimes falling in love hurts; sometimes it makes you mad as hell. And sometimes, if you're very lucky, it can heal in a most special and unexpected way.

"Susan Elizabeth Phillips writes a story that wraps around your heart and doesn't let go." (Oakland Press)
I loved this book. The characters were great and the story funny and touching. I laughed out loud several times. The softball scene is great writing and well done in narration. Anna Fields really makes these characters come to life. SEP makes skillful use of the childrens book aspect of the main character to give the writing a creative punch- especially in the epilogue.
If you liked Nobody's Baby But Mine and Natural Born Charmer than you will surely like this witty romance.
This is a GREAT book, and the narrator does SUCH a wonderful job with all the different voices. I have listened to this book several times just because it's such a great story and sooo well done! I am just now finishing a listen, and my sides hurt from laughing!
Another hit for Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Chicago Stars' Kevin Tucker isn't planning on settling down soon, but then he hadn't been very observant. If Kevin lived the way he played QB maybe, just maybe he would have seen Molly Sommerville bearing down on him. Lots of old friends with the Calebow family running around and great new characters too.
I am a middle school reading teacher who loves to show students the wonder and joy of reading.
I really enjoyed this story and the narrator. It made walking the dog so much fun.
This is another great story from Susan Phillips. Hilarious and unexpected fun, it had you bursting out with laughter. Anna Fields did a marvelous job too with the voices. I especially like the banter between Benny and Daphne. However, on plot-wise, I like Match Me If You Can more. But that doesn't mean this is not a great story, oh no...
I didn't think SEP could get any better, but This Heart of Mine is THE BEST YET! There is a little bit of this heroine in all of us! Strong yet vulnerable, quirky, and predictably unpredictable. Anna Fields brings these characters to life with her narration. SEP intimately delves into your heart with sensitivity and humor that makes you love each of these characters. You don't want the book to end. If you like chic lit...You'll love this book.
Susan Elizabeth Phillips is an amazing writer. I would recommend her to anyone. I first read Match Me if You Can, and I have been reading every story I could get my hands on since. I love the way her charactures pop up in different stories. You might start out reading a book but by then end of the story it's more like hanging with friends.
I love every book that this author writes and the narrator is the very best I have ever heard. Great story with wonderful characters fully developed. Had me laughing out loud at times. Wonderful ending as usual.
