Publisher's summary

From David Wong, the writer of the cult sensation John Dies at the End comes another terrifying and hilarious tale of almost Armageddon at the hands of two hopeless heroes.

Warning: You may have a huge, invisible spider living in your skull. THIS IS NOT A METAPHOR.

You will dismiss this as ridiculous fear-mongering. Dismissing things as ridiculous fear-mongering is, in fact, the first symptom of parasitic spider infection - the creature stimulates skepticism, in order to prevent you from seeking a cure. That's just as well, since the "cure" involves learning what a chainsaw tastes like. You can't feel the spider, because it controls your nerve endings. You won't even feel it when it breeds. And it will breed.

Just stay calm, and remember that telling you about the spider situation is not the same as having caused it. I'm just the messenger. Even if I did sort of cause it. Either way, I won't hold it against you if you're upset. I know that's just the spider talking.

"Like an episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead" written by Douglas Adams of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." …Imagine a mentally ill narrator describing the zombie apocalypse while drunk, and the end result is unlike any other book of the genre. Seriously, dude, touch it and read it." –Washington Post

"Kevin Smith's Clerks meets H.P. Lovecraft in this exceptional thriller… David Wong (Jason Pargin) is a fantastic author with a supernatural talent for humor. If you want a poignant, laugh-out-loud funny, disturbing, ridiculous, self-aware, socially relevant horror novel than This Book is Full of Spiders: Seriously Dude, Don't Touch It is the one and only book for you." –SF Signal

Just as Hilarious and Unpredictable as John Dies..

Loved it. This is not normally my genre, but I appreciate a good story that I can’t predict and I enjoy the characters. This one was possibly even better than John Dies at the End. Same reader and very well done. Compelling story. Hilarity of the innocence of the dog. I couldn’t stop telling people about what I was reading and how funny it was.

This book is full of spiders

Wow!What a crazy book. The story is good.It goes back and forth,in and out and all over until we get to the end.Keep up or you'll get lost! The characters seem a bit different than in the first book. Narration by Nick Podehl was good. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

loved it.

Can't wait for more. all 3 of his books have been that right tone of horror and comedy that is very rare.

John is hilarious and I love him!

Will definitely keep looking for further works by Wong. I like that each view was covered and done well in a very humorous manner. Fantastic book, very fun listen.

Awesome.

I love this series. The sardonic and often dark humor is amazing. David Wong is an incredible writer and the performance was perfect. 10/10 would recommend!

A Worthy Sequel

If you loved John Dies at the End you will wonder why it took you so long to get around to enjoying the sequel. Its possible this is a weirder journey than the first book. Not quite as funny or thoughtful, but makes up for that in spades with how much more intense and spontaneous it is overall.

Syfy/horror/comedy

I love the writing style of the author. The narrator does a wonderful job portraying all the characters. Worth the credit.

Great book

Great book. Performance was good, but that's all it was. Not additional production value behind it, which is the bar I hold for five stars. A+ Comic Cosmic horror.
