No British accent – seriously?

A main character who is defined by his sexy British accent . . . has no British accent. His dialogue is read with an American accent, and then his love interest responds how sexy his British accent sounds. Mind boggling that an audio publishing company would release such a product!
As a listener, once you accept the accent, the story is enjoyable & the sex scenes are hot!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes, it's a sexy, light read and very funny. i rate this more as 3.5 and have to say that I enjoyed this SO much more than Wallbanger. I could barely get through that book. I looked forward to hearing more of The unidentified Red Head because it was funny and the characters were at surface, at least interesting. This audio doesn't dive deeper than surface, which is ok. It is fun, light, sexy with cute 1st dates that involve seagull poop. My one big beef is that Grace sounds like an east coaster when I think she is supposed to be from the land of cornfields and cherry pie, ie, the midwest. Then you have Jack who is supposed to be British and he sounds just like Grace. I wish they would have at least tried to work the accents. Tried would have been nice!

Did Keili Lefkovitz do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

No, you couldn't tell Jack from Grace. Keili Lefkovitz is not bad actually, she brings a lot of spunk and spirit to her readings. I just don't think her voice was right for this audio.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

A little less oral sex and a little more romantic development. And this is coming from a girl that likes, really likes her sexy scenes. It just seemed slightly ridiculous that they were waiting to consummate their relationship after they had literally done everything else, and licked each other in every imaginable place. It just seemed a little too far fetched. It took four play to a new level of ridiculousness!

Any additional comments?

I really did enjoy this audio despite the narration and despite the endless oral sex scenes. I think some of my friends would slap me for even writing such a thing - as if there is too much. But truly, at times, it was a big old "COME ON....let's move on to the story now."

Funny and Sexy!

No spoilers allowed but this is one of the funniest and sweet books yet. I can't wait for book 2!!

Fun, Flirty, Sexy, Smutty Book!

The Unidentified Redhead was well written, entertaining, witty, laugh-out-loud, totally HOT, SEXY book! I would categorize this book between LOL Chicklit & Contemporary Erotica. Basically, this story is about a woman Grace Sheridan (nickname: Crazy) who returns to Los Angeles for a second opportunity in the entertainment industry. She rooms with her best friend Holly, who manages a talent agency. Grace meets the up in coming Hollywood actor named Jack Hamilton (nickname: sweet nuts) at a launch party. They hit it off right away and realize the can't deny the extreme attraction. The bantor between them was absolute perfection! I loved that the relationship between Grace & Jack really "built" itself. They are a match made in heaven. Although, Grace really has a problem with the 9 year age difference.She starts to gain confidence thru out the book which was great. I appreciated how committed they were to each other! There was some major SEXY times between those two! They pretty much had SEXY time in the car, wall, shower, against the door bell, bed, closet, bathtub, hotel room, and the list keeps going!!! If your looking for a fun sexy read than I would strongly recommend this book by Alice Clayton. She just has the ability to suck you right into her books. Also, if you like this book than you should definitely try her other book called "Wallbanger". In fact, I have a special place in my heart for that book.

This is a really good question and its hard to determine since the whole book is totally funny and hot!!!

No; I really enjoyed this narrator: she did Grace's role really well!!!!

wonderful writer but talents are being wasted.

I thought this would be more of a chicklit book instead of an erotica. the writer is definitely talented but it's not my style of book.

Peed my Pants

I'm in love with Alice Clayton stories, first book Wallbanger on Audio and now this, Brilliant writer and well placed sarcasm. I can't wait for Redhead revealed. This book is worth 3 credits.

fun until middle

Great fun start: Chr's, meetup, situation, humor.
But then, you hit the middle where it just goes into constant repeat: spending half of a book describing sex after sex after sex simply becomes a chore to listen to. Nothing new happens after that mid- point.

Everything about this book is memorable. This whole series has quickly jumped to the top of my favorites list. The witty banter is so smart that I couldn't help but laugh out loud whilst simultaneously bow at the feet of Alice Clayton. She is so fantastic.

Which character – as performed by Keili Lefkovitz – was your favorite?

First of all - Keili Lefkovitz is fantastic. Her delivery of the wit in this series is unparalleled. She didn't just read the words, she performed it. She allowed every emotion to take over and I was sucked in from moment one.

That said, both Grace and Jack are so fabulously written and intricate that I can't decide between the two. I could be best friends with both in real life.

If you could rename The Unidentified Redhead, what would you call it?

Nope. I wouldn't change ANYTHING about this book - even the title.

I cannot recommend this entire series enough. All three books are worth every second of your time and every cent or credit. Just do it. Read it. Now. No, seriously, now.
