Overall quite good
Overall this is a great story! There was wonderful character development and an intriguing, twisting storyline. I will admit that the random use of the word “c*nt” was jarring at times. It definitely was used at times when it felt like a strange context, like for childbirth and romance, not when one tends to use that strong of a word. It felt like a teenager trying to sound cool by using that “bad” word instead of one that would more aptly fit. That and one weird, very out of character scene towards the end, were the only real negatives for me with this story and definitely didn’t take away from what is overall a magical, sweetly woven story.

I thought this was better than the movie and it kept me wanting more everyday when I get in my car I would plug in and I discontent wait to see what else was happening with Henry and Clare and their life together and apart.

A Superb Rendition of One of My Favorite Books
I read this book when it first was published, and it became one of my favorites, so I was leery of this audiobook rendition. However, the narrators do an excellent job of bring the characters to life.
Although the notion of time travel might make this seem like science fiction, this is much more of a traditional novel that uses vagaries imposed by uncontrollable time travel to create the tension. The result is a poetically narrated homage to love and every day life.
