    "Excellent!"

I get bored very easily and it’s hard for me to finish a lot of audio books without fast forwarding or zoning out a whole lot. This one I have to say kept my attention all the way through. I would get picky and say it slowed down in some spots but again I have such a short attention span I wouldn’t take too much from that. Overall a fun horror book that had me tensed up quite a bit. Definitely recommend it!

    "well-worn plot, nice setting"

This droned on with no surprises. The ending was telegraphed from the very beginning. The plot is a non-variation of many horror B movies with some not-very-credible themes of redemption of a riches to rags family man. I picked it because of its setting in the forests and mountains of the Pacific Northwest, the descriptions didn't paint a clear picture for me but still I enjoyed that part. Most inexplicable was the character of the "monster" and its sudden willingness to be exposed to the dangers of humanity.

    "Exciting to the very end!"

As a person who loves to believe some things just can't be explained, this book was right on time. This book filled a void in all of us that get a thrill out of the unknown. Hansen brings something totally unbelievable into the realm of reality. A great book that keeps the reader involved from the beginning. You don't really have time to be bored with this tale as Hansen keeps the characters moving throughout. A blended story with a great climax. Keep em coming H.

"it could have been so much more"

This book starts out pretty good, gets a little silly but maintains enough of an edge to keep you listening.

    "sad"

I desperately wanted to like this book. As I was growning up, my brother and I used to keep each other up at night with scary Bigfoot stories. I was hoping for some of that childhood fright and nostalgia. Instead this book was a big fat dud. The narrative from Bigfoot's perspective killed all suspense and/or terror that might have developed.

    "Was OK"

It was like listening to a cheap horror movie, not bad but would have been better for me without the grahic sex scenes. No big surprises but it is an easy listen while you do other things.

"Great novel for any fans of the Predator movies..."
What made the experience of listening to The Shadowkiller the most enjoyable?

The narrator did an excellent job with his voice and diction, painting a vivid scene filled with real people.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Old Ben. My heart broke upon reading the end of the novel. I felt for his wife's loss.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Kris's death scene in the woods is fantastic. It's so brutal that it'll stick with you long after you've finished listening.

Who was the most memorable character of The Shadowkiller and why?

Detective Mac Schneider. If there's any character I'd like to be, it's him.

    Any additional comments?

My father read this book back in April of 2008. He tried to get me to read it for years. I wish I had picked up this gem a lot sooner. It's great mystery, suspense and action from beginning to end.

    Story
"The title lives up to it's name"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes if he or she were interested in this subject because the book was very well written andit had a variety of characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tyler Greenwood . this character had it all a nice family money basically the perfect life , but while on a camping trip he encountered something in the woods that mainstream science refuses to except is real sends Greenwood on a downward plunge of self destruction while he searches to prove that what he saw that day is real, show ing how you can start out at having it all and next thing you know the least little thing can change your whole life upside down if you let it get that far.

What about William Dufris’s performance did you like?

I thought the overall book was very well written I liked the storyline amd I am a fan of the book subject so I thought the author really did an exhalent job on researching background material. I would like to see more of his works if possible.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I could try , but at 7 hours it would be pushing it, definitely could get past half of it in one setting though

    Any additional comments?

definitely a keeper although some of the killings were predictable you just knew once some things were set in motion it was a given, I like at least some unpredictability or maybe I just ask for too much anyway a pretty good book Thanks audible Roy
