Excellent read

Where does The Secret Keeper rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Probably one of the best audiobooks I have read. Couldn't stop listening.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Vivienne is definitely a favorite. She is so resilient and my feelings for her were constantly changing in the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely.

Worth every minute that I procrastinated doing other things.

Not Predictable!

This book surprised me more than any other as secrets were revealed. I thought I had it all figured out, but was totally caught off guard. As with Kate Morton's other books (The Forgotten Garden, The Distant Hour), the story jumps back and forth between generations as the main character unravels families stories/mysteries. I enjoyed the characters and setting. Didn't care for one character (Jimmy) who used a lot of profanity.

Circuitous route mystery

I loved this book. Kate Morton took me on a merry chase. Just when I thought I'd figured it out, she gave me a huge twist.

Great listen! Don't miss this one

This is my first Kate Morton listen, but I will listen to more of her books. This is a great story with a great narrator. The narrator perfectly suited the story and made the story come alive as she changed voices for each character. The storyline moves with some unpredictable turns that keep you listening, treasuring every word. This mystery has a great ending. I'm so glad I chose it!

Just wonderful

I love books narrated by Caroline Lee, and she always does a fantastic job with Kate Morton's books.
The Secret Keeper is full of twists and turns and leaves you surprisingly happy in the end. I found a smile come across my face as I listened to the last hour and it grew wider as the final chapter was read. Kate Morton does a great job of being descriptive, making her characters come to life, making you fall in love with them, yet keeping the mystery alive. This one does not disappoint.

Intriguing…

This story is easy & interesting at every turn. I’ve listened to it several times & enjoyed it immensely. It’s hard to put this one aside for long! 😉
