Meet Darryl Graham, or as his new neighbors call him, The Man in 3B.
Darryl's new to the Jamaica, Queens building, but from day one he's made quite an impression on his neighbors. Carl Weber has done it again! I am a Carl Weber fan and he did not disappoint as usual. This is a truley unique storyline. It starts with a bang and ends that same way! The best book I have listened to recently!
Carl Weber is a fantastic author. I believe he is in class of his own.
The mystery behind the man in 3B, and his affect on everybody.
The narrators bring the story to life. Almost feels like it is all unfolding in front of you, like you are part of the story.
Don't judge your neighbors.
Carl Weber never disappoints.
This was a good book and I love Carl Weber. The narrators however were awesome! They were clear, animated and made listening to the book enjoyable.
A book lover for life!!!
This audio book was awesome.. I felt like I was part of the story and that I knew each character personally....I rate my books on how they engage my imagination and the leading man in this book had my imagination juices following....I send a thank you to the author...
Sad when the story ended :-(
Didn't read the print. Love listening to the audio version.
Yes, kept thinking one way and the story went another way
All of them
I enjoy all of Carl webers books. He is one of my favorite authors.
Yes. It was intense, unpredictable, enthralling, fun. I laughed and I held my breath. I could not put it down. I have read several books by this author, this is the best thus far. If you like Webber , you will love this book.
I normally read historical novels so, none. This was a delightful surprise.
Darryl. He was smart, kind, sensitive, thoughtful lover and a bad ass tug. But you would never know it was so.
Get this book. FYI The love scenes are HOT HOT HOT without being tacky.
I would not recommend this book to a friend. It was not like the previous works (pre-Business series). Parts of the book were predictable.
Not sure. I think the storyline was pretty fair. I was looking forward to a more dynamic story. Perhaps the character of the man in 3B could have been more developed.
No. I think the author already missed the opportunity to develop the man in 3B's character and therefore the book was fairly predictable.
I am waiting for the author's next book. I love his earlier works with the guy ensemble series, his Big Girl series, and his church series.
There was enough going on in the story to manage to get through to end but the story was mostly flat and unoriginal. And the erotic portion of the book... limp. Although, the story did over achieve bringing forth the ghetto hood, still a waste of time compared to Carl Weber's other books. The narrators did alright with what they had to work with for story material.
Addicted to Audible!
Yes. It's more interesting the book is narrated. Changes in voice give a clearer picture of the characters
Yes. I loved the way the writer gave detailed descriptions of all of the characters. It seemed as though everyone had a reason to kill Darryl.
The narration was good. I'd never heard any o f the narrators
Darryl. He seemed to have the ability to connect with different people on so many different levels. Had he channeled his energy differently, he could have been a great businessman.
Because of the gossip it would be in the top 10
Benny, b/c of challenges with his friendship and finding himself.
Each one gave life to their character and the man in 3B
I enjoyed it a lot and managed to finish it in less than a day!
