One of my favorite books
Elizabeth represents a pretty strong minded character that doesn't necessarily throw her female card around. She is vulnerable but not weak and relatively witty like her grandmother. Logan is an interesting character and offers another way to be a man/strong partner in a relationship. a long running favorite

The Lucky One
I have enjoyed this one with the twists and turns. The most difficult part listening was the Narrator not being able to do the woman and children's voices comfortably. My suggestion with this problem would be that the female responses be read as she said, and just read it rather than changing the voice. The Narrator was really wonderful with that exception. It is a very difficult thing to do I am sure.

Great Story by Nicholas Sparks!
What did you love best about The Lucky One?
I fell in love with Logan...what a guy! Like all thee story Sparks books I read, listened to, or watched movies of, this is a love story. While the romance was fairly predictable, I enjoyed getting to watch Beth and Logan fall in love. I think most girls want a Logan to find them...a guy who listens and understands without being pushy or controlling.
Also like all of my Sparks experiences, this one has a sad twist ending. I have always complained that Mr. Sparks kills off a main character in every book. Well, he continues his streak, but as always, I was still shocked at exactly how the played out.
Good book, good narration. Worth your time and money.

a lovely story
another lovely story from Nicholas Sparks. He really has a gift for making you fall in love with the characters and this story was true Nicholas Sparks. The narrator was a bit annoying, i truly hope women don't speak or sound that way. Over all i enjoyed listening to this book.
