"[A] vivid portrait of how faith can move mountains and heal relationships." (Publishers Weekly)
this book was okay, the storyline was very good and the characters were/are well develop, although I had read previous books of only Sheridan's story I imagine all the women had previous stories in other books. The narrator was extremly good as always, my only qualm with the book it kinda left you with loose ends, There were ubsavory characters that i wish would have gotten their just desserts, and one character in particular I just wanted to strangle, but all in all it was a very good story you get drawn in with the characters and laugh and cried as they did, the loose ends were not so bad may be this is the set up for the next book.
I usually tell my feelings about the book instead of details about the book. So I dont know how to really review LOL! The characters are well defined. Interesting how the ex-files come together. Story potrayed very vivid and well thought out real life people. Real issues, real dealings. I bonded with Sheridan because of her status and family ideolgy and the ups and downs. Didnt have that type of hubby. I wont say excellent, but very very good! Get the book and the narrator has a great track record. All books narrated by this person are very enjoyable, noises and all. not so much noises this story. Ok my 50 cents. remember to write a review, they are helpful in future purchases of others, thats how I pick/choose my books. so help me out.
I am love the calm drama that this author brings to her books. The foundation of prayer mixed with the reality of life overs hours of great easy listening. Now I'm on to the next book!
The audio is without a doubt the best. I love Patricia R. Floyd she brings each character to life.
I loved the moments with Sheridan and Brock
I don't know
Wonderful read or listen
Yes love the storyline can relay to real life issues
The message it sends
She brought the book to life
Asia she reminds me of myself
Worth every credit
The poor editing distracted me from the story. Tried it on several machines, same thing. Probably makes a better read
I would say a in the top 10
Each character truly had their own story.
She brought so much energy and life to each story.
Vanessa, to truly get a more in depth understanding of her and try to help her know she is not alone.
Read Grown Folks Business first. The book was just too long! I wish they had different characters to play each ladies part. While the book deals with heartache, betrayal and despair, it had funny moments, but it just dragged on. It took 84 chapters for these ladies to reach their healing!
