Stuntman and two-time cancer survivor Memphis Haines excels at beating the odds. When he's presented with the opportunity to help his ex-boyfriend with a charity event, he jumps at the chance to make up for the devastating way he left Tyler 10 years ago. Memphis might have taken the college geek's virginity, but the former mathlete is now a hell of a head turner.
Tyler Hall sticks to one simple mandate: no more dating ex-boyfriends. Ever. He certainly isn't interested in hooking up with Memphis Haines. Ten years ago, falling for Memphis changed Tyler's life. The man's abrupt departure turned his world inside out. But he moved on long ago. Besides, he has a clinic for the homeless to run. Memphis, however, seems determined to rehash the past. And his hard body and confident charm are resurrecting ultra-hot memories best not remembered, making Tyler's rule harder and harder to keep.
Contains mature themes.

Same narrator as the first book in the series and he did another excellent job. I like his voice for Noah the best.
I enjoyed the plot of this book although it seemed as if the sex scenes could have been cut back some. They were well written but at times were a distraction from the main story. I can't say I liked Memphis much at first, but he eventually grew on me. I think I felt more of an emotional connection with Tyler - who hasn't been dumped by someone and left wondering why? Overall, I'm glad I got this audiobook.
Could not have enjoyed it more. Binge listened.
First love revisited. Who can't relate to that?
Loved both Tyler and Memphis
The retelling of the original breakup is heart-breaking.
Omg this story was great, I loved every second of it, I actually lived Memphis, though I wantwdnto punched him for trying to give yo but thanks to Tyler he got motivated to live. Amazing piece of work
I was already in love with this story because I owned the book version. I like to buy the audible version because it brings the story to life for me. I was so let down when I listened to this. I don't think Marc Bachmann should be reading romance. He read this story like he was reading classic literature. At one point I thought he had a slight British accent because of all the drama in a simple sentence. I was so not impressed.
I found this book to be even better than the first book of the series. And I am super excited about the series continuing, I'm sure the next Book is going to be about Noah and that doctor!
Fun loving, free spirited guy, who loves reading or better still, being read to!
A great read with the same wonderful characters. The only disappointment was getting to the end
I listened to the first of river jaymes' books a while ago and thought it to be above average, but this second installment is even better. Loved the two male MC and the dynamic of the entire group of men comprising Ty's friends. I will absolutely be bying Noahs story when it comes out too. I listened to many many m/m stories and am by now a little picky since some of Them Seem to blend together in a non-descipt mass of "same same" but i Think this author might be able to write stories that stands out and stay in the "i remember that story" catagory.
"Fabulous second book in the series"
Yes! The characters are engaging, charming and emotive. I loved the narration.
When Memphis admits to Tyler that he has cancer again. I cried.
The base jumping episode. Brilliant.
Too many to mention!
I need Noah's HEA story now. Such great series.
