Good buuuut....
Overall I enjoyed this book. Love the male lead. There some unbelievable police action but whatever, it’s fiction. The part I really hated, is the fact that our female lead finds out her boyfriend is an embezzling, running-from-the-law, MARRIED, wimp. But she’s still considering staying with him. 😑 seriously? No respect for that kind of woman. Perhaps the author wanted to give her a reason to continue searching to solve the crime? Sure, I’ll buy that, but there’s SO many reasons a self respecting woman could find to do that! Like maybe... finishing what she started? Or needing the truth?

funny
okay, at first the main characher was realy annoying. one of those girls i would NEVER be friends with because she would seem so fake. at the story grew, i gained more sympathy and humor. i grew to love the charachter

Where does Spying in High Heels rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Is it the best book ever? No, but its not meant to be. It is a cheerful, fun listen and I am very glad they put it and 3 more on Audible. Bring more like it!

Loving Maddie!!!
Would you listen to Spying in High Heels again? Why?
I would definately listen to the antics of Maddie over and over again.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I love the mix of Maddie and Dana's "Lucy and Ethal" tatics, Mom and Faux Dad, plus the pure sex appeal of Jack makes you want to know whats next.
What does Caroline Shaffer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Her interpretation of Maddie is spot on
If you could take any character from Spying in High Heels out to dinner, who would it be and why?
This was a tough one for me because its a tie between Maddie and Dana. I think I would take them both just to see first hand how these two interact with each other.

this is a hilarious book series and listening to them now is even better! Caroline Shaffer brings Maddie to life and makes her even better! I will definately be listening to this series!
