Tammy, Egypt, Isis, Nikki, Coco, and Tiny are six voluptuous, feisty girlfriends who love a good book almost as much as they enjoy a good man. BGBC president Tammy is cooking up the perfect birthday present for husband Tim, but its success is totally dependent on her best friend Egypt's willingness to get frisky with them. Isis, meanwhile, has got two men competing for her affections - unlike Nikki, who's willing to do anything (with her roommate Tiny's help) to win her ex back. But none are getting more attention in the bedroom than Coco Brown, a married man-chasing gold digger who meets her match in a gigolo.

OMG. Carl Weber did it again. This book was really good. Initially I didn't know what to expect, but it didn't take long to draw me into each of their unique characters, I hated for it to end.
ok.. this story was really believable and i really enjoyed it.. but the Narrator for ISIS made me cringe.. OMG.. her throaty swallows between pauses was soooo annoying.. i had to pull out my earphones a couple of times.. gross.. anywho the others were fab..especially Tammy. loved Carl Weber's interpretation of REAL WOMEN. Great listen.. if you can stand the Isis narrator. Will definitely listen to more by Mr. Weber!
Narrator for Isis is HORRIBLE. Sounds like mouth is constantly full of spit.Great book though.
I liked everyone except the narrator for Isis.
Whoever narrated Isis' character shouldn't narrate books. Great book though. Love Carl Weber.
It you don't like...change it!
I like all the ladies in this story cause I love me some drama and they all bring it.
Yes, this book is what made me fall in love with author Carl Weber. I was quickly trying to find everything he everything he wrote.
All I can say is great ready....cause this is a GREAT book. One of Carl Weber very best!
This book was sooooo good!!!! I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what to listen to next. I couldn't stop listening. I was listening at work, in the car and at home. Two thumbs Up!!!!
I Loved the book but the narrator for Isis(Shari) and the narrator for Tammy (Patricia) irked my soul!!! Patricia not too much but Shari must have a really dry throat because all of the swallowing and throat sounds were grossing me out. It was incessant. I would pull my earphones out and get irritated when the Isis chapters would come. Other than that I really enjoyed the story.
I loved this book.. I did not want it to end. If you like drama you will love this book. The characters were will written and very diverse. This book really pulls you in.....and will have you yelling to the top of your lungs "I know she didn't"
I download over 100 books a year. I don't even know how to go about my day without listening to a title. It's my happy place!
This was my first Carl Weber book and that's my only disclaimer. With that, I hated this book. I read a slew of positive reviews and I thought this would be a good listen. By the third chapter I wanted to gouge my ears out. The voicing was fine. The characters were not. The motivations to do the things they did, the situations, the dialogue, none of it rang true to me. As a card carrying Black woman, my head is still shaking.
Overall I enjoyed the book. I often travel through reading and so I took the journey of each and every character. There is something in here for every woman from every walk of life.
I recommend this book and would request that the reader keep an open mind for we all can learn from what we read.
LIFE just happens that way sometimes!
My fave character was Coco that lady was off the chain. This book was amazing I loved how the author developed the characters and I loved the drama. I can't wait to read the next book by this author.
