What did you love best about Something on the Side?

I liked that there was one voice per character and that it was read out like a play. This helped me visualize each scenario.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I enjoyed all the main characters as they all offered something different and made the plot more intriguing.

What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

A stage/play atmosphere.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a lot and raised my eyebrows and squealed in shock a few times.

The title is very subtle compared to the thrills in the book. I enjoyed this book immensely.

Book worthy of purchase

This was a good book to listen to and I had a hard time putting this book down. With that said some of the narrators were hard to listen to because I could hear every time they swallowed which was worse toward the end of the book and pretty annoying. I do wish the end had wrapped up the characters better. I felt like I had to think back a few chapters to figure out how everyone's story wrapped up. The book ended pretty abruptly.

If you miss the can't put down until I finish, this is it! Well written and very well performed.

Loved this Book!!

This book is so good, I've listened to it about 3 times! I keep seeing all these reviews of people saying that they hated Shari Peele's (Isis) voice. I love her reading! She's actually one of my favorite narrators. The parts she read as Isis were my favorite parts. She makes a character really come to life for me. I also love Patricia Floyd! This story was great! I found myself laughing at a lot of parts while I was at work! Love all of Carl Weber's books!❤❤

Tempting

This book was good. My only suggestion is not to read if your relationship is on the fritz. I enjoyed listening & waiting to see when these characters would get caught, they definitely get all caught up.

Very Good Book

This book was good and crazy at the same time... As always, Carl Weber did his thang ...

just ok for me.

It was just ok for me. It was a lot going on for it to end the way that it did. I honestly felt like I had just gotten to the middle of everyone's stories, and it just ended.

This book was slow in some parts, great in others... When you get to a juicy or rather good part it switches over to another character I didnt like that one bit..My favorite character was Cocoa..........I wanted a "bad boy" in the mix to spice things abit in that regard. In the end an average okay read. Nothing to go omg over.

each one has a story, the narration with the different voices was a plus! My favorite characters are Coco,and Nikki.

This book was excellent.

The narrator's voice made the story come alive. I enjoyed the twist and unexpected turns.
