OMG......this book's ending frustrated me....

....to no end!!!!.....I am going to assume this was the author's plan......to make an ending that will tick you off enough to keep you thinking about the book for days after reading it and eventually bringing yourself to liking it more than you initially thought you did.....I felt this book was really slow in the beginning and was getting restless waiting for the good stuff to happen and just when I would be ready to give up....something intriguing would be dangled in front of me and I would keep on reading.....it does keep you guessing but I did figure out who the killer was early on.....but the DANG ending.....OMG......FRUSTRATION!!!!........

LIKE A LULLABY THIS BOOK WILL HELP YOU TO RELAX

And in fact, you may find yourself dropping off and wondering what happened during the last 10 minutes. It doesnt really matter. There is very little adrenalin sucking thrill about this book. Beautifully read, in a rich warm, velvety voice it is soothing, comforting and quite tiring. Perhaps not the best company whilst driving - especially not on a long trip. If there was something introguing about the story I missed it as it may well have been in the lengthy tracts when I switched off and out. Could be about my inability to remain engaged, not about Sister at all... Charmaine Elliott

Brilliant, engaging mystery

I absolutely loved this audiobook. The narrator was absolutely perfect for this book, told from the perspective of a single woman, and I was completely gripped from start to finish. I cannot recommend this audiobook highly enough. Five stars.

Plotless, dreary, boring

Couldn't get into this book, which is well-written but lacks key elements such as plot and movement. The main character talks to her dead sister throughout the book, an approach that some readers might find poetic, but just didn't work for me. Among the most boring books I've downloaded from Audible.

Sorry I ever got this one

This is a novel in need of much editing, poorly written and with a plot that relies on a primitive gimmick. The narrator does a good job with the voices but reads so slowly that it is excruciating. I turned my ipod to the fastest setting, which usually makes the reader sound like a high, squeaky chipmunk, but in this case it sounded normal and still too slow. Maddening. But the problem here is not the narrator. It is the weak plot, based on a crude gimmick, and peopled with single-dimension caricatures. What a waste.
