Publisher's summary

Number one New York Times best-selling author Sophie Kinsella returns to her beloved Shopaholic series with Becky Brandon (née Bloomwood) newly arrived in Hollywood and starry-eyed. She and her two-year-old daughter, Minnie, have relocated to L.A. to join Becky's husband, Luke, who is there to handle PR for famous actress Sage Seymour. Becky can't wait to start living the A-list lifestyle, complete with celebrity sightings, yoga retreats, and shopping trips to Rodeo Drive. But she really hopes to become a personal stylist - Sage's personal stylist - if only Luke would set up an introduction. Then, unexpectedly, Becky is offered the chance to dress Sage’s archrival, and though things become a bit more complicated, it’s a dream come true!

Red carpet premieres, velvet ropes, paparazzi clamoring for attention - suddenly Becky has everything she's ever wanted.

Or does she?

Expecting so much more!

If you could sum up Shopaholic to the Stars in three words, what would they be?

Expecting much more.

Would you recommend Shopaholic to the Stars to your friends? Why or why not?

maybe... I was just disappointed with the self-center Becky... I enjoy her in all the past Shopaholic books and laugh till I cried. I did not in the this one.

Which scene was your favorite?

Where Becky and Luke meet outside the theater...

If you could take any character from Shopaholic to the Stars out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Luke or Suz

Any additional comments?

Maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind. I may try to listen again. I look forward to a really good laugh with all of Sophie's books and was disappointed in this one.

Perfect narrator for a fun story

It's so nice to have a narrator that fits Becky again! I'm a fan of the series but I actually skipped the last two books because I felt the narration was so mismatched. It's great to have her back along with the rest of the cast of characters. The story itself was fun and had some great little unexpected twists.

Fun and entertaining

Love the shopaholic series, giggle at all Beckys ups and downs. Her small misfortunes and great realations makes an excellent pasttime.

Love Becca Brandon

This is one of my favorite series. Read all of the books and listened to these last two. A complete joy!

Great story... But no ending

One of my favorites so far, but I'm frustrated by the cliff hanger ending. How can you leave us hanging? Hurry and release the next one!!!

PROBABLY THE WORSE AT ALL OF THE STORIES

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The story was too vapid and the narrator was terrible.

What was most disappointing about Sophie Kinsella’s story?

Rebecca's shallowness was too exaggerated! The author could have delve more into the workings of Hollywood.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator was terrible!! At first she sounded like a scatter brain teenager. However, she did improve toward the end of the book.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It was amusing at times but could have been so much better. Rebecca is so lovable and funny!

Any additional comments?

Get Emily Gray from now on to narrate these stories. She brings Rebecca to life!

Not a fan of the narrator

I have listened to all the shopaholic books and this was the worst. I am so not a fan of this narrator. Her voices for male characters are terrible, and she made Suze sound like a shrew long before she started having trouble in the story line. I am also not a fan a books that end before the story is over. I know there is another book after this one... But really it's not that long they could have been one book.

Worst ever

I have loved this series. I hated this book. Becky is married with a child and is less mature than she was in the first book. She is so self centered and unlikeable.

Save yourself the time and aggravation

Criminally slow with absolutely no resolution. I've read every one of her books and this is absolute garbage. Stay away.
