Publisher's summary

Sophie Kinsella has conquered the hearts of millions with her New York Times best-selling Shopaholic novels, which feature the irresistible one-woman shopping phenomenon Becky Bloomwood. Now Becky’s back in a hilarious, heartwarming tale of married life, best friends, and long-lost sisters (and the perils of simply having to own an Angel handbag!).

What’s a round-the-world honeymoon if you can’t buy the odd souvenir to ship back home? Like the Chinese urns and 20 silk dressing gowns Becky found in Hong Kong...the five kilim rugs from Turkey...the splendid hand-carved dining table (and 10 chairs) from Sri Lanka...the, um, huge wooden giraffes from Malawi (that her husband Luke expressly forbade her to buy)...

Only now Becky and Luke have returned home to London and Luke is furious. Two truckloads of those souvenirs have cluttered up their usually immaculate loft, and the bills for them are outrageous. Becky’s even maxed out on her second secret credit card, and she doesn’t have a new job yet! Luke insists she go on a budget. And worse: her beloved best friend Suze has found a new best friend while Becky was away.

Becky’s feeling rather blue - when her parents deliver some incredible news. She has a long-lost sister! Becky is thrilled! She’s convinced her sister will be a true soulmate. They’ll go shopping together, drink cappuccinos together, have manicures together, and watch their favorite videos together.

Until she meets Jessica for the first time and gets the shock of her life. Surely Becky Bloomwood’s sister can’t...hate shopping?

Did Not Disappoint

After reading several other reviews, I was afraid that 3 was the charm (3 prior books in the series) and I would not enjoy this book. I had also listened to the sample audio, and am ashamed to say at first I thought the narrators voice sounded too old for the part, however I could not resist and dived right in. I do think the narrator did an excellent job. This book was just as funny, clever and witty as the first 3 books in the series I just can't believe the pleasure I received from listening to the entire Shopaholic series. I might have to re-listen to them all. I hope there are more to come in the future.

Maybe Becs Should call it a day!

I really thought this would be funny as I like the other Shopaholic books. But, this was really bad. Of course, Becks does really foolish things but it just really isn't that funny anymore or maybe she has changed since she got married. I think Sophie should stop with the series. The first book Confessions of a Shopaholic was entertaining and was a fun book to take your mind off of work, etc.

I would stick to the first two or three books in the series..and Can you Keep a Secret!

Irritating and Unbelievable

I loved listening to past Shopaholic books. They were funny and entertaining - good, light listening. I felt irritable and bothered throughout most of this book - irritated with Becky's seemingless endless credit limit (really? the amount of things she bought on a year-long honeymoon?) and her drive to be sisters and friends with this ungrateful, boring, negative woman.

The least appealing shopaholic

I was once a fan of Shopaholic and I like Shopaholic Takes Manhattan most. Yet Becky this time goes too far. She seems never grow up. She keeps finding excuse for her lies and I wonder why everyone forgive her again and again.

My lease favorite so far

I love all of the previous books in the series but I was pretty annoyed with Becky in this story. She was really spoiled and I had to question why Luke claimed to be in love with her. I need a break from Becky for now so i won't be reading Shopaholic and Baby just yet.

Rebecca Brandon the Compulsive Liar!

I have listened to several Sophia Kinsella books and this one became irritating towards the middle. Rebecca just doesn't seem to learn. She just can't seem to stop with the lies! It was very difficult for me to finish this one. Towards the end it got a little better, but like one other member said... I'm laying off this series for awhile. I already purchased Shopaholic Ties the Knot, but it'll be awhile before I can go through that again. These used to be hilarious, now they are just annoying.

Shopaholic & Sister

Although I still liked the story in the this one I didn't care for the narrator as much as the one who did the first two and it kind of took some of the enjoyment out of it for me. I thought her voice sounded a lot older (therefore too experienced in life) which I didn't think was suitable to the for the Becky character.
