Couldn't Stop Listening
The false hanging
Breadth and timbre of voices bringing the characters to life
Just made me want to keep listening to hear what happened next.
A great "read"!
"Another fantastic novel!"
Mr Feist has done it again! Loved this book, love Mr Joyce's narrative just excellent.
"Raymond back to his best"
A refreshing storyline gives new life to the Feist mythology. Keeps a decent pace throughout and doesn't disappoint those looking for a continuation of the saga nor those looking for a decent story.
Loving every syllable of every book. Thanks Raymond and thank you Peter for bringing the characters to life. Superb stuff.
Must be my 5th time through the series but a new experience to hear someone vocalise the characters. A great way to enjoy these epic stories while keeping your hands free to work.
"A favourite tale of mine"
Yes... I read it many years before. It was the first story I read that got me hooked into Feist world. I found the plot interesting surrounding the characters Eric and Roo.
Well, there was a few but the most poignant memorable moment had to be when Eric and Roo facing hanging... They had just watch some others being hung and now it was theirs turn to be hang.
I like his style and the way he portrayed the main characters... It brought the story to life.
It is a story which I enjoyed when I read the book and recently heard the audio version...
This was my first book that I read set in the world of Midkemia... I went on to read the others in this series. My most favourite was The Magician. I would recommend not just this book but others. Over the past year I have been hearing the books that I read and for me I have enjoyed them again, Peter Joyce adding to the pleasure.
Both author and narrator continue to amaze me as the stories carry me away to a different world. I cannot praise them enough and would highly recommend these works to anyone who loves Fantasy and Adventure!
Enjoyable read, took a little while to get going and characterisation never as strong as his earlier books but it still sets a high standard and is a great listen helped by first class narration.
"another brilliant novel "
cannot get enough of these books!! ive been a fan for around 15 years now and im really enjoying them in this format, peter joice only adds to the experience his accents are well thought up and a constant point of enjoyment
"Interesting story but poorly written"
Way to much "Eric said" then "Pug said" then "Eric said"
I think in the whole book there was one instance of "Eric replied" or exclaimed, shouted, swore, yelled. It got a bit tiresome after a while.
listen or read this books and make your oun devision. the best your imagination, the best the books. i am planing to listen to the hole series at list once more when Im done. 5 stars are just not enough for this author
