Claire is a 20-something, single mom who grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life.
When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.
With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim-to-none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.
Warning: Contains explicit sex, profanity, and enough sarcasm to choke a horse.

I loved all of it!
She had a gift in delivering the story in a comical cadence.
Yes - I laughed through the whole thing!
I have read S&S I can't tell you how many times but I loved hearing it read out loud!! I'd be driving down the road just cracking up!!!
That whole book is one great moment!!
Too many to name!!! This book will make you laugh your butt off!
Yeah but I couldn't! I wouldn't listen to it if my daughter was in the car!
I haven't laughed so hard since reading Janet Evanovich. What a great sense of humor and she really knows how to communicate the fun.
YES!!! I just finished all 3 books in the series and I want to start over again! I was laughing almost non-stop while listening to this book! Tara Sivec I bow down to your Queen of Crude Humor!
It's really a toss up between Gavin and Drew since they are pretty much on the same mental level ;-P No spoilers here, listen to the book!
If you are easily offended or have no sense of humor (pretty much the same thing) don't listen to this book. Otherwise do yourself a favor and dive in this crazy-funny series! I still will randomly giggle thinking of scenes and certain vocabulary. Love, Love, Love!!!!!!
Yes, because the narration was really dead pan and spot on.
No not yet. But i'm def on for more.
Great summer book - i had so much fun on the beach listening to this. I plan to get all 3. Cool & LOL funny!
Very funny and light listen. Not a lot happens in the book. It's basically just a plain enjoyable romance. I will say the vagina jokes got really, really old. I think I'd expect more plot for a credit but I got it on sale and I'm very happy with it for a funny laugh out loud light listen.
This book is laugh-out-loud funny. And the narrator does a fabulous job of bringing out the dry humor. I loved the story line and the normal-life feel of the book. However, I am compelled to write my first review to call out the completely unnecessary crassness. It adds nothing to the story, and I became so focused on it that it took away from my enjoyment of the story at times. Why use the word "vagina" in every other paragraph throughout an ENTIRE BOOK?? Don't get me wrong; I appreciate dialogue using language in the way real people talk. But crass language is not merely peppered throughout this book - the story is DROWNING in it. I wanted to pound my head on a table. I think this book would have been just as funny and far, far better without the crass language so heavily doled out.
What would I do without audio books?!!
I knew this book would have profanity. And I can enjoy some edgy humor as much as the next person, but this book tries too hard and uses explicit language as a crutch on the limping path to humor. I think it could have been funny if it had been dialed back a bit, without EVERY single line sounding snarky and vulgar. If you are looking for a break from the typical cheesy romance novel you might like this, but be aware you’ll have to enjoy or look past the crude writing to get there.
Wasted credit on a terrible book in which the author creates somewhat of an interesting storyline but completely kills it by overindulging in vulgarity and overuse of the word "vagina". She wanted to create a funny love story, but the exaggeration of events was pathetic and in parts embarrassing.
On top of the mediocrity of the book, the narrator manages to completely chop it up to pieces. I think that she too had too much of the "fuck", "shit", "vagina", "penis" words overused in this book and she just gave up on trying to minimally narrate the story so that we all know who's talking and who answering back.
All in all, it was one of the worst Audible experiences.
