Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author Katy Evans expands upon the intense love story begun in Real - this time from Remington "Riptide" Tate's point of view.

Underground fighter Remington Tate is a mystery, even to himself. His mind is dark and light, complex and enlightening. At times his actions and moods are carefully measured, and at others, they spin out of control.

Through it all, there's been one constant: wanting, needing, loving, and protecting Brooke Dumas. This is his story; from the first moment he laid eyes on her and knew, without a doubt, she would be the realest thing he's ever had to fight for.

I loved the book but I didn't like the narrator v

I loved the book but i didn't like the narrator. Ramy is 26 years old but the narrator's voice belong to 40 or 50 years man. I wish they chose someone younger.

ROAR!! Sebastians voice melts skinnnnnn.

Where does Remy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top of the list. This is the best audiobook I have purchased due to the narration.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Remy is my favorite. He is a sex god on steriods, with the heart of a lion.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were too many to pick just one. The book is an all consuming rollercoaster ride.

Any additional comments?

No matter how many times I read this book I still hold my breath, laugh out loud, and cry. It doesn't matter that it is Remy's version of "Real", it is as good if not better.

OH MY REMY!!! AND BROOKE, AND RACER!!!

This book is proof that Katy Evans is one smart lady who really thinks of her fans. This book is pure indulgence for fans of the REAL series. If you have been captivated by the love between Remy and Brooke then this book is for you!!! You get to experience books 1 & 2 through Remy's POV. I was always so curious to see what Remy was thinking during certain parts, like when he goes "black," when he first sets eyes on Brooke, when he found out he was going to be a father, etc. Wow! This book did not disappoint…..it showcased our gorgeous, favorite, alpha fighter in his purest form with his primal desire and need for Brooke that just sweeps you away with romance, lust, beauty and a love that makes you swoon because it's so intense. Racer (Brooke & Remy's baby) was the dearest addition to the team. And, seeing Remy as a daddy….Awe!!!! Just precious & hot & amazing!

I sometimes wondered how it was that Remy had such a large capacity for love and how Brooke fit perfectly in his heart, and I think it stems from his suffering. Since he was 13 years of age he was abandoned by his parents in a mental institution due to his rapid cycling. All Remy had were the songs that comforted him. This is the reason why Remy communicates some of his feelings to Brooke through songs. And, when he found Brooke and fell insatiably and irrevocably in love with her…well, I think his heart was ready for love and she was his perfect mate…..THE LITTLE FIRECRACKER FOR THE LION…

Narrator: Sabastian York was just perfect! He was awesome and this was one amazing listen!

epic love story

Where does Remy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

better than 50 shades and Gideon Cross stories, one of the best. Love Katy Evans writing. Can compare only to Manhore which is also great. Love that each story is unique and even language used is different, unlike Sylvia Day or Olivia Cunning which are all same. Love Remy's characters. Brook was good albeit a little stupid when she left Remy at the worst moment and with all her jealousy and insecurities. But they made it at the end!

What other book might you compare Remy to and why?

Jamie Fraser from Outlander, may be Gideon Cross too. Beautiful, caring, protective and loyal to death, passionate, etc etc.... and all have hideous personal traumas/issues to overcome

Have you listened to any of Sebastian York’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. Love Sebastian's voice. Conveys deep feelings very well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

almost did.

Any additional comments?

Make a movie based on this 3 books with Sam Heugan as Remy.

So good to be in Remy's head!

I always wondered what was going on in Remy's head the first time Remy and Brooke had smex... NOW I KNOW! Totally loved this book. It is of course a Remy POV of books 1-2... but there are a few new things... like Brooke has had the baby and Remy and Brooke are preparing for thier wedding...

This book starts as Remy is waiting on Brooke to go to the church for thier wedding... Remy starts to think back when he first met Brooke... and the book pick up from there... You just relive Books 1-2 from Remy's POV... by his memories...

If you are a fan... you will really enjoy this book... b/c so much happend in books 1-2 and you have to wonder... WWRD? (What would Remy do)...

Like the egging Brooke suffered... We get to see the egging from Remy's side... where he went when he left the hotel... O and Remy and Pete's conversation with Scorpion, which led to Remy losing the championship in book 1...

This was Awesome... Totally loved it...

Also, we get to see what Remy is like or what is going on in Remy's head when he goes black... Most of the time... Remy doesn't remember...but when he went black in book 1 after the hotel party... he remembers Brooke... so we get relive Remy's black episode from his POV... which was sad but awesome... Then when he goes back to blue...

Oooo and the Barn! When Pete grabbed Brooke's arm... Remy was pissed off... So good to see the otherside...

This book is so worth the credit, buy or sale if you invested in books 1-2...

I can't wait for books 4-5...

Narration was awesome... I love Sebastian York... and I am so glad this was not dual narration... DN would have ruined this book... So kudo to you audible!!!

I'M A REMY ADDICT!!

I couldn't get enough of this series, it's all I've been focused on for days, and Remy was simply the icing on the cake! I loved loved LOOOOOOVED hearing the story from his perspective, and who doesn't love it when Sebastian York is the narrator??--he's delicious. If you enjoyed the two preceeding stories, you just have to get this one. It is another story in and of itself, and since I'm completely and totally in love with Remy I was riveted to every word which made for a marathon listening session and sleepless night! It was perfection!

Be Still My HEART!!

REMY is just as good as the first two only this is from Remy's POV--Sebastian York is as good a Remy as you're gonna get...he felt the part, he sounded the part, he was living the part and his voice was/is awesome. I have recommended him to some authors as well when they are in need of a strong male.
f I could give this audio book 10 stars, I would. I had read it and liked it ok BUT when I HEARD it, the whole story came to life in a big way. Remington Tate, badass fighter, has got to be one of my MOST favorite book boyfriends EVAH and Mr. York does right by him. I have now listened to all three in the series two times and will keep it handy when I need a Remy fix (which is gonna be fairly often). This book also deals with Remy's issues in a sensitive and meaningful way. Don't want to go into detail as it would be a spoiler, of sorts. If you have any doubts about this book....don't. It's the beginning of a wonderful and wondrous love story and we can all use that kind of warmth. I am going to say the same thing about each of these books, so if this looks familiar in the reviews of MINE and REMY...that's the reason.
